of all the economic models i have studied all successful ones embrace the market and market forces. that said there are things that can be done to make the Capitalist system more humane https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2019/03/nordic-nations-best-places-for-parents-children/

If we look at actual data on the economy.

We see that United States are leading in terms of GDP whereas the first Nordic country that follows the Nordic model is Sweden which is 22 on GDP. Given how China is second in terms of GDP for the United States to follow the Nordic Model I expect them to lose the GDP to China making them weaker than China. China can use that to their advantage by being offering more to the table when the United States couldn't. The United States will use its hold on the world and give it to China which I think adheres to a planned economy which would be in line with I think communism if not that then socialism. This is bad because many atrocities have occurred when the government was given the power to do so. Whether it be Saddam killing politicians, Stalin's great purge or Mao killing landlords.

You didn't even bother rebutting the GDP claim.
This site is clearly false.
Norway has a 9 in personal freedom whereas US has 23? This makes no sense. Norway does not have free speech because it restricts advertising which is essential for private businesses to make money.
Norway has a 7 in economic quality whereas the US has 13? This also makes no sense because given that the Nordic model is more socialist than the US one and that socialist policies is antithetical to capitalist policies it doesn't have better economic quality by definition. This is an absurd link you gave.

Please tell me what GNI is before you use it as evidence and what is PPP?

I know you are not reading this before you copying it but at least copy stuff that helps me understand what it is you are typing.

the black book of communism has been debunked those absurd numbers are inflated, aand to suggest the nordic model is like communism is an association falacy, and quite frankly pathetic

Nordic countries aren't competitive? Interesting. I'm guessing you will go more into that in the debate?
#8

If it works then I am for it. Since the Nordic countries are not really competitive with global markets I don't care.

I thought that in previous discussions you said you were for it. Perhaps not. If you actually are against it, I am excited to see your arguments. Good luck!

I guess unless of course the person I am facing actually can make a good argument. I have never seen it.

Pro could not even explain what GNI or PPP stands for, while referencing them from a source. This blunder of source spam tips the balance on sources to con for using pro's own source to undermine has case potentially being valid. Pro actively chose to drop everything (even in the one round he posted something), leaving this a no contest as con proved with GPD as a metric that the USA's model does better, and there were no other metrics for comparison introduced.
