Let me put it like this; when it comes down to it I would rather die for a great discovery than live at the sake of it. Fundamentally this is true of me, though it is a very tough choice. I also value being underestimated and in my schooling life was in the 'losers but not total losers' clique. You know not the preppy nerds, but the kind of emos who can hold an intellectual conversation kind of clique? I mean I was a hybrid and not in a 'true' clique but you get my point. I'm a mix for sure, between a socially awkward nerd and a socially cunning manipulator. I'm definitely not fully either and see no contradiction in being both at once but fundamentally I'm the nerd, not the manipulator and that's why I admit I am a Ravenclaw overall. I also think I'd have liked the hat to put me there because the other weirdos are less likely to pick on me for being weird, whereas in Slytherin I'd be bullied hard.

It's still a compliment.

I am the inverse of you. All quizzes agree that I am a mix but most put me as Ravenclaw-heavy. You just think I'm very Slytherin because in that debate I was saying what the world's Elite literally are doing with regards to global warming control.

I'm easing back into DART with a fun, unrated debate. I'm not unconfident about being right.
I agree that Slytherin is more rational. I'm a Slytherin with strong Ravenclaw leanings myself, by the way. Slytherins take and apply knowledge. They are much more social and street-smart. Humans are social, hands-on creatures, and Ravenclaw values just don't work as well.

If you really were that confident, you'd be making it a 'Rated' debate. I am curious though, if you think Ravenclaw or Slytherin is the more rational house, because I think personally that Slytherin is more rational despite it seeking knowledge less fervently.
You will notice in Harry Potter that almost all characters of particularly high IQ never ended up in Ravenclaw. The reason is that it was more rational want to be put into Slytherin or Gryffindor, since they had better status and would end you up with more likelihood to win interhouse competitions etc. as more competitive personalities went there so begging the hat to put you in one of the two was a major factor in making it so that only the geeks and nerds ended up in Ravenclaw, as opposed to the 'pure strategy genius' types.

In other words, I've got a group of gold and scarlet who disagree with me.

The latter part of the resolution is most certainly true. The former part is arguably true but comes down to opinion and bias on how voters see people.
