Round 1
Forfeited
Published:
Type1 has forfeited.

Terms:

ETs mean sentient life that came from beyond Earth.

"type 3 civilization" refers to the Kardashev scale,

Type1 has said that there is a type 3 civilization in the comments. Its unlikely that there is a type 3 civilization in the universe because we haven't found evidence of such. Type1 has given no proof for these claims.

Also Fermi's Paradox states that while it is "likely" that life exists outside of Earth, but we have not found any life when we should.

I will keep this short and expand in the coming rounds.

Added:
A meteorite is extra-terrestrial. Therefore this debate would be untenable.

#3
Added:
Extraterrestrials in general but I think that there are all types out there including type 3 civilizations.

Reason:
Pro's original thesis was vague and likely either too easy to prove or impossible to prove, depending on what definition of "ET" was assumed. However, I guess we will never know how this debate would have turned out, since Pro failed to make any appearance and forfeited every round. Conduct to Con for showing up for every round.

Reason:
ETs could not be present enough to debate against Earth. Thus ETs don't exist as proven in this debate.
