Description

Chapter II, Article A, Section 4 states: "Slurs or invective against an entire class of people (such as racist, sexist, homophobic, islamophobic, transphobic, ageist, and ableist slurs, or slurs against religious, political, ethnic, or national groups) are prohibited. Disagreement over what constitutes a religion, race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc., is not a legitimate excuse for hate speech."

I am con, meaning that I am against the existence of this rule. My opponent will be pro, meaning that he/she will be in favor or the existence of this rule.

SETUP
Round 1: Each side makes their opening arguments.
Round 2: Each side rebuts their opponent's Round 1 arguments.
Round 3: Each side rebuts their opponent's Round 2 rebuttal of their Round 1 arguments.

Wow. I took quite the hit to my ELO and I imagine you got quite the bump. You're welcome.

We should have a debate on fair voting rules.

@drafterman

Dang it. I'm sorry, but IRL stuff got in the way here.

Can we call this one a tie and then reschedule a separate debate?

-->
@Mharman

Added! Thanks for the heads up.

@Raltar

Here is the new debate.

I created a new debate to bump it up, so you're going to have to add this one to your favorites if you wish to follow what happens
