Description

Since my previous debate on the trinity went well for me I decided to do another one.

Pro:

* Pro trinity in the old testament

Con:

* can be Jewish, unitarian, or other similar group

rules:

* use old testament verses as sources
* New testaments are acceptable but primarily use old testament sources
* Talmudic and other rabbinic commentaries are also acceptable sources
* The more evidence the bigger are the chances to win.
* avoid logical fallacies
* avoid insults
* respond quickly and effectively(less than 1 day recommended)

A shame nobody votes unless one of the mod's friends is involved in the debate.

it's okay my friend, the comment section is good for addressing mistakes.

Correction: I meant to say that Isaiah 53 isn't *necessarily* talking about the messiah.

please people don't make this debate political. This is a religious debate.

I wouldn't recommend using Jewish traditions to defy the trinity. Modern Judaism developed its theology as a response to Christianity. Jews - like all other humans - will let their biases affect their beliefs. I'm not trying to be anti-Semitic(I am interested in Jewish culture) but I'm just trying to say the obvious truth about them and humanity as a whole.

@Conservallectual

It would be neither in my interpretation, instead it would be a cryptic clue left by the real god/devil. :)

@RationalMadman

This debate is not about whether or not religion is true but about if the trinity is a originally Jewish idea or made up by early Christians.

@Conservallectual

If the religions are true, it is not, if they are fictional, maybe it is it depends what version you fancy happening.

While I am not Jewish myself, I'll be glad to argue this on the basis that the Trinity is an idea that originated with Christianity, and the Hebrew Bible is based solely on the Jewish faith.

@RationalMadman

Is that a joke?

@Conservallectual

Three corners, all-seeing eye in the middle.

God is the illuminati leader, who is the devil.

OT God becomes Satan.

Lucifer becomes Jesus, not Satan yet he is Satan via Trinity.

Holy Ghost becomes Allah.

Next level interpretation.
