Description

India's current education is not helping students to critical think and learn skills that are relevent. You cannot get good education unless you go into top universities for which there are very less seats when compared with the number of applicants.
Even childrens from age of 5 to 17 (1st to 12th standard) are unintentionally thought not to question. the debates that happen in schools are like "just read internet and memorise it" and speak it even if it's out of contest that the person in front has pointed to. And same is for Education you memorize everything, write it in exam and you are top. Creativity and Crtical thinking is missing. And students who are said they are best students have all these traits. And It also promotes English since we have started studying. As it's not our native language so many of us have to learn new language from childhood which I think kills our thinking and creativity.

If we reform education which eleminates these things then we can surely get better result rather than being in a rat race.

I've provided you some context on what we will be debating on, and I'm open to any person who has experienced and is/had been a part of Indian Education System.

PRO must prove that these two and ONLY these two should be options for the Indian education system:

A Lot of Reforms
Create a New one

As a result, CON should win if this is proven:

Either of the two options above are undesirable

1. "A Lot of"

Pro proposes that a lot of reforms is the only option other than to start anew. Let's see what "A lot of" means.

Definition of a lot of

: a large number or amount of (things, people, etc.)

In other words, Pro wants a large quantity of educational reforms, regardless of quality.

The thing is though: This should not be seen as a desirable thing, as for two reforms to be counted as separate instead of counted as one larger reform, they probably would either:

Take place years apart or an indefinite period of time long enough so it is unreasonable to consider them the same movement;
Happen in different places in India so they can be considered as separate;
Classified by the government as separate no matter the realistic state.

On the other hand, they would NOT:

Happen continuously so they are classified together;
Classified as the same project so funding is concentrated;

So what Pro is proposing is that we should have several distinct reforms on education instead of one big one. What Pro is proposing is that we should reform education in distinct steps of unknown magnitude instead of gradually and dynamically. What Pro is proposing is that we shall do vastly different things to each and every place, maybe even removing equality and equity even if they happen together, leading to a country-wide inequality problem; instead of just going with the obvious solution and bring equity with similar things country wide that could be classified as the same reform anyways.

And even if we really get equity in education to all the states nationwide, in order for it to be "a lot of reforms" instead of one concentrated effort would have different regional efforts be processed and rebadged differently, which makes the same solution much more inconvenient.

So hear me out, don't have "a lot of" reforms. Just have a nationwide one dealing with all the problems and having said lot being subprojects instead of being their own with no synchronization.

Conclusion

By this time, the argument of that there being a lot of reforms in Indian education is not desirable compared to obvious alternatives stood up here.

I know current system is fkd up, but there might be something good in a way. Like it is producing more skilled labours. And there are some people who claimed up to the top of ladder because of teachings of this system so I guess someone should present why the current system is good.

I hope you get my point.

And I am even against teaching in English as it does not help my brain develope at initial stages of learning. But I am in favour of teachings in Sanskrit and extra language as their Native language. And no english in curriculum.

Change it, in the title and the description. The best case is that you are deducted S&G because you misspelt in the TITLE, and the worst case is that someone exploits this hole, says people cannot think "crytically" due to it is not an existent word, and win. I have been that someone before, believe it or not. Do it, I suggest, if you want a chance of winning.
