Round 1
Forfeited
Published:
Unmarried cohabitation relationships are built on sex. Relationships built on sex are not healthy relationships.
Round 2
Published:
Are you saying or assuming that all cohabitiating couples have a sexual foundation? Where's the evidence for that? If not all, the question still remains. If not all, show how to differentiate. Also demonstrate how a sexual foundation is unhealthy.
Published:
Sexual foundation is unhealthy because there is no actual attachment, and thus will nearly always fail.

Round 3
Published:
Ok so is every single couple built on a sexual basis? You haven't proven that. Where is the statistical data or survey on that? Isn't it true that women become attached after engaging in sex? Why is attachment needed for a relationship to be healthy? What is healthy supposed to mean in this context? What's the correlation between the two? Also if the couple is living together, wouldn't there be some sort of bond to engage in such an arrangement? You would have to posess some sort of survey on couples cohabitating, their reasons for doing so and the nature of their relationship. The survey also must show the deleterious effects it has as a result from cohabitition. What's been offered so far are insubstantiated explanations probably deriving out of personal belief.

Criterion Pro Tie Con Points
Winner 1 point
Reason:
Con didn't provide any evidence to support his claim.
#3
Criterion Pro Tie Con Points
Winner 1 point
Reason:
This is mostly a forfeit debate from both sides. Con, however, had the entire burden of proof in this debate. The only thing that con argues is Unmarried cohabitation relationships are built on sex and Sexual foundation is unhealthy. Con cites no sources nor does he give any reason for this. Pro points this out in the next round and shows that con needed to provide evidence for that. Because con failed to meet his burden, pro wins.
#2
Criterion Pro Tie Con Points
Winner 1 point
Reason:
Equal forfeits - pro doesn’t offer any specific arguments other than a rebuttal for cons argument on all cohabiting relationships being sexual in nature. As such Neither side fulfilled their BoP.
#1
Criterion Pro Tie Con Points
Winner 1 point
Reason:
This is 85% what an FF on the part of Con. Pro's later (but not R1) only forfeited Round is negligible as there was nothing more to reply to than in the previous Round.
Con loses because Pro counterargues that sex itself causes, not just results from, attachment. Con is left without a remaining point against cohabitation that I can see. Con inherently conceded that if there is attachment, said relationship is 'healthy' meaning that Pro's defensive argumentation style didn't need offence as Con had admitted that if attachment is there, the relationship is acceptable and that cohabitation is fine.
