Should the US invade Africa with the long term goal of making the continent many US states?

Have you considered the wider scope of managing to isolate the international influence of the Chinese government?

What service does an insane imperialist minority faction offer between the Americans and the potential Chinese exploits?

Have you accounted for American resistance at home, and proxy conflicts?

I may be able to rephrase the questions. It would be helpful to know what you take issue with

I imagine most of the protest will be peaceful.  If people are against the invasion, they can protest it.  If it turns violent, law enforcement would deal with it.

Why not Canada, or Mexico?

I support an invasion of Canada and I support gradually invading Mexico as well with American settlers.  The US needs the added GDP to stay ahead of China in the foreseeable future.

I think that you overestimate U.S. capability.

The U.S. has made a pigs ear out off just about every invasion it has undertaken or instigated since WW2.

Some times when a US invasion led to the freedom of people:

-Nazi Germany
-South Korea
-Japan

Some military operations are bad, like in Iraq.  But the US saves people too.

The US failed when they invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, give it up while you are miles behind.

Sometimes the US military is bad and sometimes they are good.  We should pull out of some areas, but other areas we should be stationed in.

What about South Korea and Japan?  The US should be involved in these areas.

I assume you mean the Korean war. They were invited there. Also it was a UN mission.

As for Japan, that was in 1945. It was 75 years ago. Virtually every example of the US invading or triggering regime change has been a disaster since then. Vietnam, Afganistan and Iraq are great examples of military intervention going horribly wrong.

There are also tons of examples of America trying to use subterfuge or influence to control other countries, that usually goes wrong too.
Guatamala, Cuba, Iran etc

Basically, America needs to learn that they can't control or rule over the rest of the world. It ends badly every time they try.
