I don't think so. 
I never feel alive in nature. It can be comforting but boring if you have nothing to do in nature.

Yes, but only if you approach being it in with the right mindset. For me, a handful moments I've had in nature are the closest I've ever gotten to feeling truly close to something more than myself.

Not like people used to be in nature. Most people can't grow food or hunt. Most have never seen every star in the sky due to city lights. Most of us don't know what phase the moon is in at any given time.
