I think I am done. I think 2-3 votes were removed so I think I missed out on about 8 debates. Those were the long ones and I would like avoid voting on them if I don't have an interest in what was going on. Spite was not existence in those debates either so I can't use that either. Typically I have a mix of spite and interest for debates. For the ones I didn't vote on I didn't have both. Most of the votes were really easy to vote on so my spite and interest levels does not need to be too high.

I got a pretty late start- i haven't really tried counting but it feels to me like a few people might be ahead of me and I've already had one vote deleted. Honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if another vote or two was yanked. Remember that a few of us had voted on a bunch of those FFs before the contest....giving what? maybe a 12 point advantage to people who pick all those up. Maybe we'll get a better sense on Monday but right now could be anyone's game.

Hey Guys! Not long left now!

Just for your information. I will start tabulating things the moment the competition ends. I hope to have preliminary scores up in the next day or so! I will be working on one person at a time, in alphabetical order, then present a summary of all points: as moderation may remove votes subsequently: I would like to leave the scores up for 2 days before formalizing them to declare a winner, and to give everyone a chance to review/challenge or make any corrections on points I’ve missed.

As there’s only 4 people competing, I will also not formally award a wooden spoon either.

I entered the contest late and thought I only had until the end of the day to vote on the debates. I didn't and then bsh1 took down so many votes of mine down. I knew I was going to lose even though I disagree with most of what bsh1 removed as my not so sufficient voting. I do feel like I was done dirty. Partly my fault and I partly blame bsh1. I don't blame Ramshutu if he thought I blamed him.

I wouldn’t worry too much. To be honest, from DDO onto here, it’s difficult to appreciate and understand the reasons votes are removed, and it’s easy to take it personally and feel like there was some obtuse error committed by moderation. I don’t always 100% agree with everything they’ve decided, but they’re always made in good faith.

Don’t forget there’s plenty of other reasons to hate the mod team :)

I have lost really badly so it doesn't matter now. I'll complain the next time a vote of mine is taken down. I don't think it would be the case because I am going back making bsh1 or Virtuoso read an entire story before not removing my vote.
