There are two kinds of people in this world, would you consider yourself a greaser or a soc?

I'd rather be the soc kind of jock than the greaser but I'm a geek and would have dressed like neither of them if I was in that society.

You do realise that it's the greasers who end up going bald as they grow up due to what the stuff does to the roots and even biochemically to the hair molecules.

I know the soc actor looks like he's balder but if they were actually high school kids ot young adults, by age 40 the soc type of jock is likely happily married and has raised responsible right wing children with some values and ethics. On the other hand the greaser type has likely raised anarchists who end up with STDs and children they run away from if male.

LOL that's awesome. I'm a guitar slinger so I'm probably gonna have to go with greaser, but hey, nothing wrong with a soc. But I'm putting my money on a greaser in a fight lol. BTW, geeks can be greasers, have you ever seen Outsiders the movie?

I didn't really realise this was from a specific story and in real life I was raised very middle class past the age of like 10 (until then I was lower for sure) so I guess I could easily be both.

I do not have the psychopathy of the Socs, I am definitely passionate to my core but I have extreme rationality and ruthlessness about me that isn't the 'love everyone' attitude of the greasers.

Even after reading it is much the same, I am more jock than popular party kids type (although the two cliques overlap a lot).

I am definitely more of a sophisticated aristocrat than a thuggish socialist if I were either of the two. The Socs definitely are who the more successful geeks would have worked their way into being.

Are you saying that a greaser is less likely to be a jock? because even though I would label myself a greaser I'm also a jock.

Yeah but if you watch the movie greaser were definitely thuggish, but the soc's were worse. Sneaky, backbiting jealous snobs.

Yes, the greasers are basically the artistic, social, party going, skateboarding cliques all in one.

The socs are the ruthless jock bullies and ironically the high-achieving nerds along with the less science oriented linguistic and/or non-conventional geeks all in one.

Greasers would also have stored the in-betweeners which is why they formed the majority purely due to having the 'average person' join them as Socs only liked high achieving specialist types unless I've interpreted the movie wrong after a little research.

Yes, Socs were better at it because they would fight back with cunning and extreme strategy rather than immediate violence most of the time I think.

I could see that, on the other hand I don't see why a greaser would be less likely to be a jock unless he didn't prefer the company. If we're going by the term "jock" as in an athletic type. Does boxing count lol?

idk what you mean but i'm referring to the fashion choice and the cliques they represent. I didn't realise this specific movie split them in the way it did into poor and rich. It would definitely cost more to maintain the fashion style of Greaser than the Soc so that's idiotic if they are poor.

That aside I am still more of a prick than a humanity lover. I am definitely more soc and believe the world requires us to be more rational than emotional.

Your last sentence I can get with because I understand the emotional body and its cunning nature, the one before last not so much. No need to be a prick, and you never lose loving others.
There's a way to be detached without being a prick.

No there isn't. You cannot be detached in general and not a prick to most people. The energy used to maintain constant kindness and fondness of others is immense and requires you to not think through why you like them or what use they are to you,

You should be careful what you assert to be the case with such force....What energy are using to be a prick? being a prick doesn't seem like a passive option. Detached means indifferent, it's a neutral position, meaning you don't have to invoke a negative because there's no need for it. Being a prick is not a neutral position and therefore you are utilizing negative energies.

It is a passive option so long as you're not an elaborate prick with high levels of sadism.

Some of us, such as me, are either genetically or due to our childhoods (or both) built to be more dominant and ruthless than most. When we are nice to people, especially those who aren't submissive or kind towards us at all, it requires extreme restraint (the more domineering they are to us, the more restraint) to not lash out at them verbally and also indirectly by harming them with sinister intention. This is because we'd rather harm those who stand in our way by our very nature and the effort is put into being nice. I am not the only one of my kind and this simply sounds more disturbing than it is because so few of my kind admit how we work. More males than females are like me but there's definitely a fair share of females like this.

It's called being disagreeable by nature in short but in long it's a series of temperamental tendencies that makes us angrier and greedier than the norm.

Neither appeal to me, I'm more of an oddball devoid from any major cliques.
