I recently discovered Steem. [LINK]

I've found quite a few very interesting philosophical discussions worth participating in here. [LINK]
What is the exchange rate of this "steem dollar/token"? It doesn't necessarily have to be to the dollar, but to a basket of various online goods. From what I gathered, the "steem dollar" is worthy only a "steem dollar."

Currently 1 Steem Dollar is exchangeable for about 19 cents USD.  The peak exchange value was about $6 USD in January of 2017. [LINK]

The point is that it's more than zero, which is how much you get from everywhere else.

There are definitely writers who make more than a nickle for every post.  This example made 259 Steem with only 82 likes, which at current rates would be about $49 USD. [LINK]
It's quite coooool

If anyone wants to check out steemit.com, tag your post with logiczombie and I'll give you some free upvotes (currently worth about 0.03 steem each).

1. Water always flows from the high upstream to the lower place
God created water so that people can learn from it. The nature of water that always flows to the lower place is analogous to humility in humans.
Water must be useful for all living beings under it. Like the leader, water is the servant leader. If he is in the top position, then he will be a waiter for the people who need under it.
Water is identical to the leader serving. The purpose of serving leaders is the source of welfare for the people he leads.
