I am looking for information on Roman feet. I have looked online and can't find anything, just in a couple of books. 

I am trying to find out why Flinders Petrie stated in his book, "Inductive Metrology" that the Roman foot was .97325 feet. There are several different Roman feet, but I can't find any confirmation that that is one of them.I am just trying to find out where his version of the Roman foot originated from.

I have not read Inductive Metrology, but have gotten this from two secondary sources.

Roman foot refers to a type of toe alignment/shape.

Toe reading is a thing along those lines, maybe you're confusing two different mystic studies. By 'foot' what do you mean?

A foot is a root measurement usually divided into sixteen digits.the common English foot divided into 12 inches is an exception to t he rule

Gotcha, had to Google for this.

The standard Roman foot (pes) was normally about 295.7 mm (97% of today's measurement), but in the provinces, the pes Drusianus (foot of Nero Claudius Drusus) was used, with a length of about 334 mm. (In reality, this foot predated Drusus.)

Originally both the Greeks and the Romans subdivided the foot into 16 digits, but in later years, the Romans also subdivided the foot into 12 unciae (from which both the English words "inch" and "ounce" are derived).

The standard is a little too short,and the drusus is a little too long. Although the standard is pretty close. It DOES say"about" a certain number of mm, so the standard might be it. it's hard to tell
