Currently, the Democrats control the Federal House by an upwards tick of 37, so GOP will need a +18 on the night to take back the house, can they do it? Well, Trump will just have to overperform in the Midwest and it's an easy path back. It seems easy on paper, but encouraging the voters will be hard. They have a LOT of options to take it back on offense, after losing 40 seats in the midterms.
It’s certainly possible the GOP bounces back by winning in districts where they lost close races last year. But some of those seats, especially suburban ones, are probably gone, at least while Trump remains at the helm of the Republican Party.
The Strategy for GOP is TRUMP. “We can go into all of those districts that we lost — so many of them President Trump won 2016 that I think he’ll do even better in 2020,” House Minority Whip Steve Scalise said. The Louisiana Republican said he’s seen the enthusiasm for Trump firsthand in recent travels to swing districts around the country.
And that's it, the Midwest that Trump won is where the GOP lost the house, 18 seats in The midwest can work really well!
First, take back the 4 seats in Pennslyvania, which can be done. Take 2-4 seats in Michigan, a harder task but possible.
Then, Take back Oklahoma 5, I mean Jesus that was embarrassing.
Last, Trump NEEDS to be stronger in the West. Arizona lost a seat and the senate election and is now a tossup in 2020 when it used to be a red state. Californa Dems flipped 7 SEATS!! 7!!!!! He doesn't appeal to those people and it's a problem.
Also, Iowa was embarrassing. Take ALL the seats in Iowa. Make it a red state. It's country-side and IM SHOCKED it's a swing state, It's a typical Safe GOP state, weird! The Dems don't spend any resources there anymore they think it's a lost cause, IT IS FREE VOTES GOP!!!!! take notes!

So to conclude: Trump can easily win the Midwest again, Midwest Dems(expect Philadelphia) tend to be more moderate. Especially in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Two crazy old people who won't shut up about socialism doesn't appeal to these people, they want to grow their semi-shitty economies, they don't see that in Socialism, Biden is a South Man, and there is no southern Hospitality up in the Rust Belt.
Last, spend a LOT of resources in Nevada and Arizona. Those are the states Trump can improve in. He didn't appeal to them in 2016 so 2020 is the year to appeal to them. Take back at least 5 or 6 house seats in Cali and 1 in Washington or Oregon. Oregon can flip maybe in 2028.
So go GOP, you can do it! Beat the Dems in The Midwest.
