Europeans were sending out ships to go and round up migrants so that they didn't drown.
They were condemning America for not taking in the immigrants at its southern border.
They are even trying to jail Italy's former Interior minister because he didn't take in migrants there by "violating their human rights".

Yet, now that there are thousands of migrants at their border, (Greece) what do they do? Block it off.

What happened to all the love, tolerance, and multiculturalism Europe? Aren't immigrants great anymore?

And where are the progressive liberals here in America? Not one peep out of them about the poor souls being kept out of Europe.

I can smell the stench of their hypocrisy all the way over here.

I am a Greek person and these migrants are being armed by Turkish officials to lead a revolt so Turkey can occupy Greece and Turkey can stage a coup. These are not normal refugees, these are bad people being sent by a country with previous feuds in the past

You could be right, but that is not what is motivating Europe. Greece would bear the brunt of it as it is their border, but why aren't the Europeans all for it?

Just as in the U.K. The U.S. head of state is of German ancestry and is currently married to a Slovenian.

And how does your ancestry pan out.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree as they say!

I'm not a racist or a bigot, so I rarely worry or focus on ancestry and how far apples fall from trees. Sorry.

France supports it, but the rest of EU is doing nothing but support. These refugees are bad people. They recently vandalized churches. It’s fairly obvious they are trying to overthrow the government so Turkey can lead another enslaving or some form of it. This is a flooding the border. Why should Greece bare the burden? It’s because Turkey hates Greece

I say if the EU was sending out boats to find and save migrants from drowning, why can't they also take these migrants in?

If these migrants are "bad" people, why were they up in arms when Trump also tried to deny entry into his country of similarly bad people?

The whole thing stinks of hypocrisy. Especially of Germany. Now that they're losing elections, suddenly that multicultural utopian society they promised isn't so wonderful.

Since the Americans are the primary cause of all these refugees why aren't they taking them all in?

America does not control the individual actions of every person on the planet. Countries are going to have their civil wars whether Obama decides to drone them or not. Countries are going to repress their people with Socialism and will create an endless supply of economic refugees no matter how many Big Macs America tries to sell them.

America does not control the individual actions of every person on the planet.
But according to progressive PC woke liberals, America is responsible for the negative individual actions of every person on the planet.

That is why America should take in every prehistoric troglodyte whose "rights" it has violated by not giving them money.

You are bigoted against non-americans.

I support open borders, but jailing a politician who doesn't agree with me is fascist and anti 1st amendment.

Seems inconsistent. If you agree with open borders, then you should think a politician who stopped migrants from docking at your posts is guilty of a human rights violation.

You could make a case that the EU (and Greece) through gross inaction and negligence allowed the Syrian war to continue many years more than was necessary, and thus has a responsibility to house the refugees.

I don't believe in jailing people that I disagree with.  I'm pro open borders, but I'm also pro first amendment.  I think that if Italy rejects migrants, then that is their prerogative, the migrants can come to the US instead under my plan to help improve our economy by getting jobs and by paying a sales tax and a capital gains tax as would everyone else, but no income tax necessary.  They'll assiliminate with time.

The US created the middle eastern refugee crisis. The US should allow all the refugees they turned into refugees into the US.

I mean the argument is pretty simple. They can't be up in arms when they are 1000miles away from going to America. Turkey is sponsoring these dangerous refugees so they can lead a coup in Greece. Turkey is using this to take out the Greek people. Violent refugees should not be allowed in any country. When they try to kill the people, then they are bad people

And Greece HAS BEEN taking in these refugees for years now? It should not be Greece's burden to carry them, it should be the EU. Why are you blaming Greece?

I say if the EU was sending out boats to find and save migrants from drowning, why can't they also take these migrants in?
But they aint

Sure they can. They were up in arms about Trump banning immigration from countries thousands of miles away from America.

It should not be Greece's burden to carry them, it should be the EU.
I agree, and said so.

Why are you blaming Greece?
I'm not.

But they aint
I know. That's my point. They should be.

Nope. Very few of us think terrorists are good and Jews (zionists) are evil.

That's a very broad and therefore inaccurate comparison....Fake News as your Orange Demi-God would say.

Though the sort of typically broad and inaccurate comparison that we have come to expect.

And Jews are not necessarily Zionists and vice versa...Another typically inaccurate assumption....Just like assuming that all Semites are Jews.

But this is Turkey's fault. Shouldn't you try to take action against an aggressor before fixing the situation
