" We are being sold a lot of lies  that is a detriment to black & white community."

" George Floyd was not a model for black America".

"Police officers have way way more to be fearful of the black community that the other way round"

1998 theft with a fire arm. 10 months.
2002 cocaine offence. 8 months.
2004 another cocaine offence. 10 months.
2005 another cocaine offence. 10 months.
2007 George  (& co) went up a few gears and gravitated to Floyd and five accomplices crashing into a pregnant woman's home armed with a gun threatening to shoot the unborn baby for which he serves a paltry five years.

` and just when George was getting his life together and had become and exemplary character in the community ` (CNN) , a white police officer murdered George  when  caught attempting to pass a fake bill and while high as albatross.

that information will not/can not be used to justify the cops actions, but rather refute any claims that he killed him intentionally or the other conditions needed for 2nd degree, just my 2 cents.

I agree. But "that information" is in the public domain for all of your countrymen & women to see and read. Do I have to say anymore? This is before they - the jury - hear anything in mitigation from the officers defense. Just my pennies worth.

that and the other 3 police officers weren't white, talk about a false narrative, unless something more comes out that is.

This is the exact same narrative that rapists use to try to get away with raping women. They try to turn to the narrative to be about the victim rather than the criminal. If you can convince a jury that she was "a slut", then they stop sympathizing with the victim. This defense is pretty much the same thing. Paint the victim as some sort of scum bag criminal, then people won't sympathize with the victim and it won't matter that he was murdered.

It doesn't matter if George was a saint or a complete asshole. He was murdered. The police who murdered him are the problem.

You really are a deceitful  individual, aren't you.  Is your whole life based around  defending arguments with blatant lies?

And now you are just plain lying about the woman in the video.  She clearly addressed the "unlawful murder of Floyd". Nowhere does she imply or suggest that "he should get way with anything" she states the opposite.   But she also clearly address's the unjust and unwarranted over reaction to this murder.

So I will once again ask you to show us all how a single thing in this video implies that this BLACK women is suggesting that she is trying to excuse the actions of the clear and  murderous actions of this white officer and suggests that she made this video to help the white officer "get away with " anything.

No you can't can you. But it won't stop you excusing the vile murderous actions of those black rioters who filmed a "brother" taking his last gasps on earth.

my point is that bringing up someone's history in this context is despicable. It is an attempt to smear someone so that people do not sympathize with what happened to them. Lawyers defending rapists by trying to make the victim sound like a slut. Cops trying to get away with murder to this by making their victims sound like "thugs". What he did 10 years ago, 5 years ago, hell what he did 2 weeks ago is irrelevant. And trying to draw attention to it is to try to undermine the seriousness and credibility of the crime committed against him.

But it won't stop you excusing the vile murderous actions of those black rioters who filmed a "brother" taking his last gasps on earth.
I have never excused murder. I have been quite clear that the people looting and the people protesting are 2 different groups. I support the protesters, i condemn the looters.

I would feel a lot worse about Gandhi getting murdered than a guy who raped children. Historical past should make you feel worse and less bad about what happened. A porn star drug addict that left his kids and threatened to shoot a pregnant woman's unborn child isn't really a loss to society. Deifying some scum bag to further a political cause is also disgusting.

She is the "intelligent black woman" in the OP video. I was going to write a more thoughtful response about how tone deaf and idiotic this perspective is (focusing on George Floyd's criminal record), but I just don't have the energy and she's not worth it. Anyone that desperate to straw man the narrative in this way is trash, plain and simple.

Never been a fan of her or Kirk. Hate how overused the term is, but they are "grifters" imo. They changed their views on a dime as the kids didn't like "free trade" "letting criminals out of prison" "stapling greencards to the back of diplomas".

Not that she is always wrong, she is just a token black of the conservative movement, in essence. That is her role.

I agree. Floyd's past has absolutely NO BEARING on the events directly leading up to his death, except possibly to corroborate a bias the police had toward him because of his history. Nothing in Floyd's history is relevant, only Floyd's actions on the day and the moments near the time he was killed are relevant.

Or the intelligence or a decent  command of English to string together few words that  tell & support your reasons why you believe that "Candace Owens is trash".  I am relieved.

The action of the cop/s should also not be used to tarnish the reputation of the entire police force, or God forbid now, all whites or others that don’t agree with violent and savage behaviour of many protestors. It is shameful of you to take the action of one police officer and generalise that behaviour to the entire force.
As for the rest, the whole discussion was about the false narrative being portrayed on the man. The narrative is blatantly false, and so the narrative should be addressed. For someone with the name ‘history’ in your name, you seem pretty loose and easy with the truth.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

Writing a series of opinionated adjectives does little to support your argument.
Your personal straw man is your suggestion that most people commenting in this thread are ‘trash’, and therefore, insufficiently worthy to even question the existing narrative. If you think you can stop people thinking for themselves by setting your arbitrary boundaries on what constitutes ‘trash’ thinking, you are seriously mistaken.

Yes I know what your point is and I have to keep repeating what I have already said time and time again. I won't be doing it anymore. Now for once, do the right thing on this thread and produce evidence for your claims and stop telling me what I haven't claimed.

So I will once again ask you to show us all how a single thing in this video implies that this BLACK women is suggesting that she is trying to excuse the actions of the clear and  murderous actions of this white officer and suggests that she made this video to help the white officer "get away with " anything.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jyq_R7HJTQ

A gaming rig, a dishwasher, my family's medical bills paid off, and a lifetime supply of black cherry Mike's Hard Lemonade.

I guess I also sort of want the focus to be on police brutality against an unarmed restrained man, and not on whether the unarmed restrained man was a good or bad person.

Just like, in that 2007 case, I would not have wanted the focus to be on whether the woman Floyd robbed was a good or bad person - and if someone had told me she had a criminal record, I would have said that was irrelevant in the context of the injustice Floyd did to her.
