according to wiki..
As of January 2017, the global participation rate of women in national-level parliaments is 23.3%

While you may find an outlier like Rwanda that has a parliament with more than 50% women, it is only because most of the men were slaughtered in the Rwanda genocide, and new babies haven't replaced the lost generation.

When women make up 50% of the voters, the only plausible reason for the lack of women can only be a disinterest of women voting for women, assuming there is no voter intimidation. (we saw this with Hillary)... So why are most parliaments in liberal and free nations still around 30% women participation?

It's the same reason why there are more men in jail than women.

Okay, I do have socioeconomic opinions regarding how girls and boys should be raised, but why exactly should I care about gender in politics?  Is this an issue outside of my bubble?

Women just need to actually build a political career and win an electoral majority....why should the women's vote matter?  The political interests one is able to satisfy are what matter and those circumstances don't necessarily change because you are a man or a woman.

I don't think it is strange at all. In most cultures it would be a shame to have a woman leader. Besides that, worst case scenario you have a woman head of state. That is bad foreign policy. Your country would be a joke to the nations who see only men as being fit to lead.

But in countries like this, even the women prefer to have men in charge of things. It's not strange at all.

Politicians may be in charge of their respective duties but a culture that relies on them for leadership has some serious issues imo.

Jacinda Ardern received rapturous applause for her speech at the UN, pumpkin head received derisive laughter. Your boat just sank.

It was a reply to your incorrect assumption and it's based on reality. The united NATIONS are the ones you claim would laugh at a country with a woman leader when it's actually the country with an idiot for a leader that they laugh at. Your argument is dead.

No, I just clicked on the link to a Quartz article at the bottom labeled "Here is the study" and read to the end rather quickly.

It basically describes the genetic differences between men and women with women on average being higher ability, but men are dominant on the extreme upper and lower ends of ability, which is the important part to note when selecting competent leaders and managers of government.

I wasn't talking about the UN in my original post.

And what I said still stands.

Dude... he was playing them like a fiddle. Only liberals can't see it and that is what amazes me about Trump. He is literally playing the left to death and they don't even see it. "I didn't expect that response," Trump said... oh, yeah he did.

I think it also has something to do with intimidation. You have to be a real ballsy women to go up against border line narcissist guys seeking power.

Oh no he didn't, his unbridled narcissism would only allow for sycophantic applause.
The world laughed as it does every time he opens his pig ignorant trap, unless the world groans and shakes it's head.
