Welcome back all to EPT, the show where we explore the spectrum of one's politics!

This time we have DPR, a self-proclaimed 'pragmatic libertarian'. 

He says that he equally values both freedom and peace above all else in a society but that a balance is optimal.

How can freedom and peace coexist when often to maintain one, the other has to be sacrificed?

I am aware that I am being hyperbolic here.

that's more of a perfect world scenario.  when someone's rights are infringed by someone else  is when conflict arrises.  We've strayed far from maximum freedom under the guise of safety and peace.
