Unfortunately my internet sucks on Mondays because of my location.
Anyway i read this but can't verify the details.
The trek is 1700 miles from start to finish?
How does that many people randomly organize so well and I guess quickly?  I mean these are poor people right?  No cell phones or much in the way of communication devices.  Are the videos of a guy passing out money (he's armed) to the crowd legit, have some of these people been paid to do this trek?

If the 1700 miles is close let's do some math.  Average person walks 3 miles per hour.  So in 8 hours about 24 miles, let's make it 25 for ease of math.  If the 1700 miles is close that means if you keep up the pace of 3 mph for 8 hours a day it would take you 68 days to travel that distance.  How do you carry enough food for that many days?  You'd have to be some kind of major athlete to even attempt that, unlike the women and children pictured.  i'm not really a conspiracy theorist but this is extremely puzzling.

Might be funded by NGOs that want to help stop the rape of young women as they pass through.

maybe, but that is a lot of people all at once to try and help w/o advanced notice, the logistics aren't really adding up so far.

If stormy daniels can get half a million to pay Trump's lawyers, you betcha this caravan can get funded.

I don't see how this wasn't funded from the very beginning, but by whom and why.  The reasons I doubt are very altruistic.

Altruism doesn't exist on a large scale. Nearly everyone in today's charities has a motive which makes them happy.

True Altruism would make you unhappy. Mother Teresa was miserable for most of her life, questioning a God that demanded she keep the poor alive to suffer longer. That's Altruism. Another form of self injury.

Most of the whacko NGOs helping illegal invaders are doing it to increase Church membership or to enhance a political Lobby for socialism and open borders. These NGO's actually rely on government welfare to encourage illegals to make the journey with promises of government funded charity. They help illegal migrants fill out the refugee forms that will qualify them for state aid.

There is nothing Altruistic about that.

true, just be most people understand that now hence the lack of outrage over this whole event.  while I have sympathy for the people being manipulated and used, this needs to be stopped otherwise it will happen more if they have success doing it this way.
it's an organized invasion.

It is interesting, but assuming conspiracy, a vast quantity of people sought asylum in Mexico, nearly 20% of the initial size of the caravan to begin with.  Were this a funded operation, its interesting that such a percent decided to call it quits there.

In any case, casually, how much review of migrant caravans have you conducted to form your opinion?

Reviewing the immigration crisis in Europe, there were plenty of instances in which huge numbers of people (looking akin to locusts as they traveled) were filmed going from point A to point B, leaving various detritus and trash in their wake.

Secondly, as has been mentioned, there are camera crews seemingly everywhere.  One would think if they were being lodged some place that wasn't innocuous, it might be televised.

And lastly, whom benefits from a huge splattering of migrants at the US border? 4k people won't make any appreciable voting difference, assuming they all some how infiltrated, and Trump already has an immigration nightmare regarding children in detainment camps in the desert.
