a good wage should come from the employer, not from the good will of customers. plus the current system allows and justifies employers paying a few bucks an hour, which is ridiculous. i actually respect people who dont tip, cause the system is perpetuating this stupid system. it would be okay if tips were just good will for good service, but it's become expected. i like people to have the freedom to tip, but outlawing tipping would make more sense than our current system, because our current system just creates more problems than it solves, so just shutting down the whole system at least has a logic to it.

Your approach is popular in Asia (not just in Japan where it's considered offensive to tip). The approach in Asian countries is that tips are to be earned by super excellent service (except in Japan where it's considered offensive to tip as it insults someone's perceived wealth). In Asian countries a tip is taken as a serious compliment, not a standard service reward. However, Asian cultures and countries have brutal harshness on the poor, in general (again, except for Japan as well as more socialist ones like Vietnam and Sri Lanka). So, the approach is usually brutal on the poor.
How do you "outlaw" tipping?
Eventually it would be made in the name of donating towards the business, and then you have to outlaw that according to that logic, and then the business suffers because it never gets anything in the credit or faith of it, instead just what it sells.
Outlawing tipping would create more problems than it solves. Just because it drains your pocket a teeny tiny bit quicker doesn't mean that businesses should suffer.
I think we should reduce the need of tipping and increase the importance in such an action. Increasing the price of every dish for 5% and only letting customers tip if they feel like that there is a real need of tipping sounds rational. You don't wanna people to tip every single time. Being hard on drugs 24/7 would mean it wouldn't feel as significant as the first time trying it, and the purpose of tips are compliments, not taxes.
