I pushed the update yesterday and it may have affected your browser's cache as well, so please clear and it may help somehow. But the update itself was minor and it had no breaking changes so I am still figuring out what went wrong ...

There was something to do with how you store the cache. It must be something that the template company you have or whatever, hosts third-party. This service is definitely shared with some other websites, it happened to createdebate as well.
Maybe it was this one -> https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/1k9s7mswbzzs, because we also use CloudFlare in front of the website's server and depend on it working correctly.

Because apparently I messed up the cache when released a new update yesterday. I am still not sure what happened since I didn't have time to do a proper research but seems like clearing the cache solves the issue.
Mine is all jacked up, seems like the whole site is frozen from my end. I get emails but can't see new posts. Also keeps logging me out.

I think it's better if we tell you exactly what's going on so you understand the problem... but reading some other comments, it's weird bc i don't have their problems. What i do have...
1) My notifications are stuck at the last one i got, notifications won't turn off when you go to the reply, and i'm not getting new notifications.
2) When i post, well, you won't get a notification that i replied... plus, my post doesn't appear until you refresh the page.
That's the part that is good. All you have to do is refresh the page and all comments missing should show up. At least it does for me, i don't understand other problems bc i primarily only post in forums, so it's only comments and replies i can attest to that are having a this problem.
Idea... maybe it's reached a threshold. Maybe it's a virus... not a computer guy so those are the only two things i can think of off the top of my head.
Edit: I noticed notifications also all appear when you refresh the page when you are under notifications. They are just not posting unless you refresh the page, so i think the problem is the site isn't refreshing the page how it use to do.

To be honest, i was about to tell you... everything is working fine now after i simply refreshed the pages under comments and notifications. I got your notification just fine and now they are off. So, i think a simple refresh works too.
I don't want to clear my cache bc i don't know what else it would affect if i did. I was going to research it online, but if you can tell me that would be awesome. I'm just concerned it will mess with other sites i use. Don't really know what clearing your cache does... like i said, pretty ignorant when it comes to these things i don't usually do on the computer.

Well, clearing your assets cache will not really effect anything, except that the browser will need to load all the styles and images again, which is a problem only if you have a bad internet connection. You are probably confusing it with clearing your cookies, which is something that could log you out of many sites, if you delete them all. But anyway, if it actually works now, then I guess you don't need to do anything anymore :)

This is not a improvement more so personal preference. Can you guys/gals add a feature that replicates DDO's look? I like the way the debate section was set out. It might be nostalgia but even now I can't shake my positivity towards the way DDO's debate section looks. It is not ecompassing the whole screen and it centred in middle and on the side is other sections of the website. Basically my problem is that it is a bit too wide for me. I liked the gaps on the side so that words were centred in the middle. I also like that strip they have where it signifies what Round I am on. Blue is Round 2 Red is Round 1. I don't also like how big the debate details is. I think you guys/gals can make it shorter. I like the icons like below debate details they are consistent. (RationalMadman said you can't copy DDO to avoid copyright but would like the take from God)
I like words more than colours and icons and was hoping you add more words in the debate section. One example is the yellow star. Can you add the text "Add it to favourites"?
The font would also be more consistent if all the words used used the same font as the debateart.com logo on the top left. I think it looks better. The worst example would be when in a debate section you see the title of the debate which is a different font compared to everything else. If you changed to be more consistent then I would be happy.
Can't you call yourself DA instead of DART? Nit picky but had it on my mind.
Why did you guys pick Blue and orange? Was blue and red taken? Can you add like a customisation feature so that I can choose what colours I like to most to colour the site?
Another improvement can you call this thread "Request Improvements"?
How about having a slider of sorts or like an option to choose classic DA look or "improved" or Readers DA (basically heavily focused on words rather then icons. Can have icons but very few)?
Can't you shove the categories section right next to the left and the in middle the all debates section?
Didn't know there was a thread dedicated to this.

Nope, we are trying to do exactly the opposite actually. Intellectual property and stuff.
