How about don't allow people to delete messages?
It would be difficult for both bsh1 and Virtuoso to lay down the law if we allow people to delete damning violations of the law.

Can you add a function which allow me to edit the receiver as well. When I post a comment I am only allowed to edit the comment not the receiver. Are you against this because it can causing someone's notifications?

Well, deleting messages can be possible only during the next 5 mins after the creation or something like that, so it's doable in a sane manner.

Regarding the receivers, the notifications is the main problem, if you remove somebody from the list of receivers, they will get notification but will not understand what happened since they are not mentioned in the comment anymore, I am not exactly sure how to go around this one.

Right now people are using misc or philosophy, neither of which seem to be a good fit.

Suggestion to add “helping other people” to the list of life priorities.

I expect there’s a reasonable number of people who would list that as their #1 priority in life. I think I would, subject to some constraints about my personal wellbeing and happiness.

We could add it, of course, but there has to be a proper word for it, altruism maybe or something along the lines. Any ideas? :)

The above reply was intended for you...

If that list is being amended, Hedonism would be another valid entry.

The text I am writing now. Do you have plans on allowing me to change the color of it?
As in instead of it being black text it can be red text.

I am not sure about it, it would take quite some time to implement it and wouldn't give so much marginal improvement. I will check if there is an easy way to do it and if there is, then yeah but otherwise, I am afraid there are many more things that need to be done first.

I will push a big update in a few days with some big refactoring involved and after that I will start implementing all those requested features.

It should say "One or more participants cannot be found"

And you're welcome on the other thing.
I fixed some error messages. It should be better now.

I normally get messages when something I was a part of happens on this site which is a good thing. Not all of the messages go to my inbox instead directly go to my Junk. I create a rule but then the same message from the same person ([email protected]) some of it goes to my Junk section. Only some of it. Is this a problem on your side or has someone pointed this out and you already have a way of fixing it?
Frankly, I am not sure, I think I have this stuff set up properly so the email providers shouldn't send the emails to the trash but maybe I missed something, could you please create a topic thread to ask other guys if they have the same issue?

Suggestion: Change the width of the Debate Preview to match the room given for debate descriptions as seen afterward. ... That or at least the description part of the preview, matching that.
Hi!

I am afraid I misunderstood your point earlier. Could you please give me an example on how the current width creates problems? Just to make sure I understand your point correctly :)

Bug: red pencil icon shows as if mods edited a post when you have reported it on a phone and the flag has become red.
Hi, is it still an issue?

No but the bug where it doesn't appear red when clicked until you refresh (so it appears red when actually not reported if you click an even number of times from the original flag) is still present on Android phones.

Maybe you could make it visible when my opponent types something. Maybe I could also give point(s) of information as he types if I'm online.

Cool feature with the TU option now. I've always liked that feature on sites. However, it would be more effective imho if we can see who gave us the TU. Bc then you'll know who agrees with your argument or likes your post. I've noticed sites do the simple hover over the likes and a list of the names shows up under... don't know how hard that is to do for you but just one idea if you agree with showing names.

Well, it's not that difficult but it's lots of typing and designing so I think I will probably add it at some point later in the future.

Thought on voting...

If mechanically controlling who can vote (right not moderators take care of it), a visible medal for authorized voters would be nice. Possibly a gold medal, that way we can assume anyone with at least 1 gold can vote.
