"Because cockroaches come out at night, it’s unlikely you’ve seen them moving around together. But cockroaches don’t like traveling alone. Instead, they live and travel in small family groups. Once they find a suitable place to settle, they build their colony by mating and multiplying, setting up small foraging groups."

Personally, I think Blizzard wasted their time 'Reforging Warcraft 3, they should have just made Warcraft 4, use the same engine if they didn't want to put in that much work, just adding new campaign, new units, factions, heroes.
They've 'already written the story at some great length, 'plenty of timeline past or present to choose from, to use as a campaign.

Course if they make 'some money off it, perhaps they don't view it as a waste of time, or if they can rewrite the user agreement to take credit for fan creations.

After reading that whole article, I think cockroaches that thrive as a group requires some elements of peer pressure. I think they do experience them. Sad that peer pressure leaves no room for independent thought.

Eh, peer pressure's just another influence in life.
Though maybe cockroaches are 'more susceptible to it than humans.

For 'many species though, humans included, peer pressure and group movement can be useful.
Sometimes people are running for a reason,
Sometimes it's easier to avoid danger in a group,
Sometimes hunting and team sports are easier, when there is shared exuberance and spirit.

Though it can be bad, and lead to dumb decisions.
Such as smoking,
Crime,
Feel awkward or not included if 'not following.

Just something to be aware of, make use of, or avoid, depending.

If a communist country invaded the US, how would I be able to tell who is the enemy and who to fight? Why would I even fight? What would I be fighting for? What would I be defending?

Afghanistan, Taliban taking over, says the news, America trying to claim it's not abandoning anyone, has the look of Vietnam again.
An embarrassing failed war,
Saddam aside.

But that's what you get sometimes, with vaguely defined wars.
I suppose.

'Bit of a problem 'once involved though.
A question of morals/ethics, I'm not sure which.

But if USA destroys infrastructure and society,
Or if citizens in region support USA involvement and policies, puts those citizens in danger, if we leave them in the lurch.

The Taliban is essentially a guerrilla army. It got strong because it could point to the US and say they’re invaders.
They aren’t jihadists like ISIS and Al-Qaeda. The US can help without having a military presence.

Fair point, though regardless,
The British had an obligation to the Tories in America,
The Americans to the South Koreans who supported them.

What action 'follows such an obligation, I've not thought deeply on,
I suppose my mind first goes to 'acknowledging that it exists.

I remember a number of video games when I was young, where the cutscenes were live action.
I wonder what if any modern video games are the same.
. . .
Hm, Red Alert 3 I suppose.
But somehow that example feels like cheating.

When it comes to prequels and sequels as in movie series etc, people tend not to use them in the same sense. For example when a first movie is produced in a series, most people don’t consider it a sequel if a prequel is made afterwards.

sg's agreement on COVID precaution travel is confusing. Worth it to read throuhh tho, told the gf to help change my name to an assimilated version once I get there. The requirements are not bad, and her language is a refreshing experience. Might delve into mandarin papers once I learn ennough

What random thought that I have is neither too boring nor too inappropriate or cringey to post here?

Literally none, the ones that are neither are my longer thoughts that aren't random but carried on over a while.
