Yes, In an interview with Rachel Maddow on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” the host asked Mary Trump if she’s ever heard President Trump use racist or anti-Semitic slurs, or express other racist sentiments. “Yeah, of course I did,” Mary Trump replied. “And I don’t think that should surprise anybody, given how virulently racist he is today.”

Im aware of his racist comments and instances such as- Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino were fined $200,000 for shuffling black and female dealers to accommodate the perceived preferences of white male players. When white-male big betting players would arrive, they would move the black and female dealers away to serve the player's interests, or  On Obama's administration "Our great African American President hasn't exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore NOTE: thug is a dog whistle for the n-word
another instance--Donald J. Trump attacked a judge that was handling two lawsuits against Trump University saying “He’s a Mexican ... We’re building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings — rulings that people can’t even believe.” despite the judge being born in Indiana.

Trump is so racist his orangeness deeply disturbs him every time he looks in the mirror and his scowl strengthens its grip on his facial muscles a littlie more each time.

"I've seen no hard evidence that Trump is a racist. And, unfortunately, we’re living in a time where no one expects hard evidence. You just repeat some familiar words and people will react pretty much the way Pavlov’s dog was conditioned to react to certain sounds.”

Who would have thought that Donald Trump, of all people, would be addressing the fact that the black community suffers the most from a breakdown of law and order? But sanity on racial issues is sufficiently rare that it must be welcomed, from whatever source it comes.

When establishment Republicans have addressed the problems of blacks at all, it has too often been in terms of what earmarked benefits can be offered in exchange for their votes. And there was very little that Republicans could offer to compete with the Democrats’ whole universe of welfare state earmarks.
Law and order, however, is not an earmarked benefit for any special group. It is a policy for all that is especially needed by law-abiding blacks, who are the principal victims of those who are not law-abiding.

Education, another area where something that is needed by all segments of the population, is especially needed by blacks and other low-income minorities. In other words, here again there is no need for a divisive policy of earmarked benefits, in order to attract new voters into a “big tent.”
No matter what policy Republicans follow, they are not going to win a majority of the black votes this year, nor perhaps even this decade.
Nor is that necessary. Just an erosion of the Democrats’ monopoly of the black votes can benefit both Republicans and the black community, who are currently taken for granted by the Democrats. Republicans may also get more white votes if they are no longer seen by some as racists.
Education is a slam dunk issue for Republicans trying to appeal to black parents with school-age children, as distinguished from trying to appeal to all black voters, as if all blacks are the same.

Education is an issue with little, if any, down side for the Republicans, because the teachers’ unions are the single biggest obstacle to black youngsters getting a decent education — and among the biggest donors to the Democrats.

Among the few signs of educational success for low-income minority children in the public schools are the KIPP and Success Academy charter schools. But teachers’ unions are bitterly opposed to increases in the number of such schools, and Democrats do what the teachers’ unions want, because money talks.
As long as blacks vote automatically for Democrats, while the teachers’ unions insist on getting their money’s worth, it is all but inevitable that the education of black children will be sacrificed in the public schools, wherever Democrats are in control.

Republicans have nothing to lose by taking on the teachers’ unions, which donate more than 90 percent of their money to Democrats. Again, Republicans may not win a majority of the votes of even those parents who have children in the public schools. But that is where any inroads into the black vote can begin.

Racism is a social and political belief, a conviction that some phenotypes are inferior or superior.  But Donald Trump is too far gone a narcissist and a sociopath to hold on deeply to any kind of belief system or conviction beyond his present need.  I honestly think that Trump's bigotry or lack thereof is entirely for sale- a bargaining chip to which he hold no personal connection.   If he thought it would help his cause to embrace BLM tomorrow I think Trump would without a second thought for consistency.

The fact that Trump's presidency was quite racist I read as entirely tactical, a gesture to win the loyalty of that stupid and perpetually aggrieved portion of the Republican electorate who have longed for a society more permissive of their irrational antipathies since the 1960's.  Even today, after a thousand lies and fuck-ups, the haters stick with Trump not because he's a worthwhile leader(his overall incompetency is well-established)  but because his occasional nods to bigotry make those voters feel like they're part of some rational community- a popularly elected national leader lends their long-suppressed prejudices some national credibility.

I've said this before.

Everyone discriminates, relative to perceivable differences....It's how we function.

And some people are conditioned to be more discriminatory than others.

Though it has to be said, that Donald never discriminated against Eastern European Women.

But he probably had a preference for the light to orange range of the colour spectrum.

Wikipedia is a radical leftwing cesspool of misinformation.

Not even debatable.

Sourcing CNN would be more credible.

i think he has racist ideas, but that overall he isn't racist.

when he said obama didn't have a birth certificiate, the only evidence he had to base that thought, was that obama was black. he wouldn't have said anything like that to a white person. that is arguably racist.

Obama was half white. Are you saying Trump is also racist against whites half of the time?

An interesting phenomenon today is that most people who are half white will almost ALWAYS identify as Black because society provides significant advantages to people with Blackish skin at the present. EVERY mixed skin shade person would  most certainly identify as white in the Jim Crow era if they could get away with it.

Here is the most famous case of appropriating a protected race.

Identifying as a white today is to invite aggression, regardless of the shade of your skin.

Yes, he makes a great Uncle Tom.
Uncle Tom was the hero of the book, but thanks for such a monumental display of ignorance and the Pavlov's dog trigger Dr. Sowell mentioned.

As if a Black man needs an self-loathing Uncle Joe to tell him what it means to be Black. Nor do they need another 50 years of hateful labels from the same racists.

Wikipedia is definitely a great place to get a grounding on a particular topic. I'm not sure where your claim of it being a radical leftwing cesspool of misinformation comes in, but that phrasing alone reeks of nonsensical hysteria.

What Sowell has written most about are the affirmative action programs, which he says have backfired. Instead of producing more jobs for women and blacks, he says, they have made potential employers more wary, fearful that if the hiring does not work out, they will probably be faced with a lawsuit.
And he says that skin color is no longer an unscalable barrier to advancement.
The NCAAP's Tom Atkins responds vehemently. "It's true that Tom Atkins and Tom Sowell don't need affirmative action programs to assist our entry into the mainstream. And it is also true that both Tom Atkins and Tom Sowell are, when compared to the average white person, exceedingly more qualified and more prepared. We're super-blacks. The NAACP approach is not one designed to assist the elitist or superblack; we worry about the whole spectrum. Tom Sowell apparently does not know they exist. He sounds like an Uncle Tom to me.

Un·cle Tom
noun
OFFENSIVE•NORTH AMERICAN

  1. a black man considered to be excessively obedient or servile to white people.
