Welcome to day phase 1 of my game called TUF Villains!

There are no third parties in this game. The setup will be 2 mafia vs 8 town. Mafia were not provided with fake claims nor do they know the theme split. I will once again be open that in my opinion, this is not a complex theme split. While I don't like games being broken by theme, I feel like too many mods over complicate the theme split or provide mafia with fake claims so often that theme can often be irrelevant. I want it to be a tool for those who want to invest the effort in to help them, but at the end of the day the game is always more about behavior. 

Good luck to both teams!

DP1 will have regular lynching mechanics. However after dp2 and onward Plurality Lynching will be in effect. A no lynch can still be voted on, but if a no lynch isn't voted on then the player with the most votes on them will be automatically lynched upon a phase expiring. This mechanic should encourage activity in the town. If you are inactive you punish your own team by doing so.

Huh, interesting idea with plurality voting. Hope that helps get people involved.

Btw, this is the first theme in a while that I know almost nothing about. Should be interesting.

What did you think of your first game? Honestly, despite the issues with using your Dreamer role (noticed you couldn't use it because you were visited every night), I thought you did a good job making yourself stand out as town in the end. Anything you're interested in trying in this one?

Heh, sounds like me when I was starting out, which honestly wasn't too long ago, all things considered. You'll develop more confidence in it as you go along. Wouldn't say anything in this post makes you sound bad, just a little overly self-conscious, though you shouldn't feel too reticent about getting involved.

i think i did ok my first game
It was a good start. Honestly, if I had been in the same boat as you (unable to use the Dreamer role and seeing a lot of action with little experience), I probably would have kept pretty quiet myself and waited until I could use the role to contribute. You just got unlucky with the visits.

I think we should lynch claimed millers and that millers should not claim. Low likelihood of being investigated and a convenient scum claim. 


It would be far better to take the following absurd approach.

Always claim PGO as miller and miller as PGO.

If there is a cop there’s a possibility that he will investigate me but that will be a waste of time as I will appear guilty anyways. Cop can investigate someone else and hopefully find another guilty.

Im fine with being lynched if there are no other suspects but I think it’s better to wait till future day phases to see if any other scummy players arise. I already appear guilty by role so best to just keep me in your back pocket until later.
