This is, beyond a doubt, one of the strangest looking creatures I've ever seen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FUccwdB65s

The video was filmed by a deep sea ROV that was inspecting a pipeline for maintenance. It had the privilege of sighting the rare deepstaria enigmatica.

Biology is endlessly fascinating.

The blobfish has become a downright deep sea celebrity. You can buy a blobfish stuffed animal. Or blobfish slippers.

Ha, no probs. The blobfish has been named the mascot of the Ugly Animal Preservation Society. Lol.

It's blob-like appearance is mostly caused by decompression. It gets caught in deep sea trawling nets and then brought to the surface. This is what it looks like in its natural environment. Much more fish like, but still with a weird face. This image shows the contrast.

The blobfish is a bit how we would look in space without pressurized suits.

According to all flat earthers (yes, all) the superior animals, meaning original/apex-predator/supreme-alien-like beings etc are all deep BELOW as opposed to 'up' as we are told. They likely are capable of being so deep they even can go 'under' the massive ice wall that's our edge (Antarctica being a massive ring around the world) and explore the ice-scape or whatever land is outside from beneath and communicate on wavelengths and with means we can't sense or even imagine.

Everyone skip to 5:20 in the video I posted and tell me WTF I'm looking at.

Am I crazy or does it look like it's flashing its junk at the submersible in some kind of mating display. "You like? You liiiiike?"

Sadly for the creature, the submersible only liked it as a friend. The creature swam away, heartbroken and emasculated.

I'd like to avoid a flat Earth debate as it will most likely take over the thread, and I made it to simply discuss scientifically fascinating creatures.

But deep-sea gigantism is certainly a documented -- and scary/interesting -- phenomenon.

It is entirely connected. If the Earth is Round why are there such magnificent, mysterious entities down there? Also how the hell is severely hot lava beneath the coldest, densest parts of the oceans? Doesn't add up one bit. ;)

And now -- the goblin shark! What a handsome looking fellow.

Some gifs of the beast in action:

Nature is amazing. And horrifying. It's amorrifying. Or horrmazing.

LOL ...... I love the Wal-mart Utube etc spoofs. It takes all kinds to make a humanity/coummunity. Its called biodiversity via sex.

Jellyfish ---not a fish--- do not have a penis.

Jellies are complex and defy the idea of simple-to-complex evolution i.e. less complex sponge > jellies.

Jellies came before sponges and that may have occured on differrent family tree.

Box jellies have 24 eyes and cubo-octahedron has;

24 chords,
24 potential right triangles in its 8 surface triangles
24 potential right triangles in its 6 squares
24 radii when constructed from 4 circular or hexagonal paper planes

I don't know much about them, though aren't some actually more than one organism/creature?

If not genitals then WTF am I seeing at 5:20.

And I'll have you know, a self-proclaimed biology teacher on the internet whose credentials I have never seen backed up my theory. So. It's scientifically unassailable, I think you'll agree.

If not genitals then WTF am I seeing at 5:20.

..."There are almost 4,000 species of jellyfish, according to Cheryl Lewis Ames, a jellyfish researcher at the University of Maryland, College Park."...

..."The males [ medusa jeelies } release their sperm into the water en masse through a single orifice, which serves as a mouth, anus and reproductive channel, on the underside of their bells. "They create a swamp of reproductive material,"

Some male jellies of another species use their tentacles.  That is closet we come to a jelly penis.

..."males, on the other hand, stop mating when their four pairs of testes are empty of sperm, Ames said."...

There  are four pairs of tetrahedra   --four pairs of surface triangles---  that composed the cubo{6}-octa{8}hedron. A cubo{6}-octa{8}hedron is a vertex truncated cube.

I associate #8 with biological
