About me

Work in Progress Bio:
I'm a Paleoconservative with a few populist leanings. I strongly believe that we need to end lobbying and special interests such as the military-industrial complex if we are to ever remedy a lot of the problems we are facing.
I support:
Very limited gun control- mentally ill people or those with violent felony convictions cannot own
Allowing health insurance companies to compete nation-wide
School vouchers- competition will lead to better quality of education and/or more efficient use of resources
A flat tax with no deductions(those below the poverty line won't pay taxes) and no taxes on investments
Welfare reform- those poor because of bad personal choices would very rarely receive benefits (ie fine during recessions).
I'm strictly isolationist- We need to reduce foreign aid expenditures and pull troops out of the Middle East.
Strong Border Security
I'm against expanding animal rights laws
I'm anti-union- it makes American industries less competitive. I don't believe in abolishing them, just reforming and limiting their power. This includes implementing Right to Work laws.
Minimum wage laws should exist only on the state/city level, never a federal level. (If they exist at all)
Low income taxes and little regulation. I support sin taxes (such as taxes on drugs and junk food)
Firing Squad for executions(death penalty should be used very rarely)
Medicinal Marijuana
Free Speech Laws as they currently stand("Hate speech" isn't prohibited, no calling for violence, no fabricating emergencies to cause a panic)
Pro Life
Electoral College
Moderate Protectionist (Tariffs for vital domestic industries, but otherwise fair trade.)
Anti-trust laws
Lower Immigration Quotas and Strictly Merit-Based Immigration.
Immigrants Should Not Be Eligible for Welfare for at least 5-10 Years After Entry.
Reforming drug patent laws so that they become generic after their patent expires. Evergreening, the process of minorly altering drugs to extend patents, should be prohibited.
Student loan reform- shared income agreements
If you want to discuss any of these issues, just shoot me a PM or perhaps a debate.
Take it easy :)
