My political positions (aka me fishing for arguments):

-Sensible gun control legislation should be implemented
-Affirmative action in colleges and universities should be phased out
-Abortion in the first two trimesters should be a right
-We should have universal healthcare
-Free speech, freedom of religion, and voting rights are all fundamental tenets of democracy that should (almost) never be violated
-The criminal justice system should focus on rehabilitation, not punishment (strongly against the death penalty)
-Climate change is a serious issue that we need to base public policy around
-GMOs and nuclear power are necessary for a sustainable future
-The US should spend more on education and less on the military
-The ends don't justify the means (I mean this in a broad, philosophical way)
-Minimum wage should be raised to $15
-The government should implement targeted financial aid to help poor college students
