Life is pretty tragic when you think about it all.
I wasted a lot of mine on websites like this but what is 'waste' and what is 'spend' other than a subjective differentiation? We can't change the past, that's one thing for sure and which hurts a lot. The worst part is when that past was done in the fear that we'd have wasted it had we not done the very things we did to waste it... The ultimate realisation that helped me was to understand that there are not 'right moves' in life, just variations of wrong moves.
Pick your move and risk, life is too short and precious to waste stagnated and paralysed with the fear of outcomes.
Be whoever you are, every minute of every day, the world will try to break you if you're not wired like the norm or lived a life different to the norm but the choice to stop it breaking you starts with being the person it's trying to break. Be you, always and never regret the way the past went down. That regret won't change a damn thing, instead regret the thought/behaviour patterns that led you to said outcome and question how to improve them. Toxicity is cyclical, we get trapped into it by trying in some way to compensate for who we really are. Don't compensate, just be you and learn to 'adjust' the real you slightly, don't overdo it as that is compensation and always is unhealthy.
