So this debate I think is a lot lighter than the other things I usually do, but for a good reason, lmao.

I don't think it's useful to define like pro or con because it's something personal.

Ok so not to lose track here, I will give you my reasons why it would be completely fine for me to give my best friends a chance if they like me.

So I'm a bi man but I usually go with women but, if it is for my best friend to turn on the other hand of the river for it would be completely fine, either is my boy best friend or my girl best friend, and I'm COMPLETELY SURE ABOUT THAT because it is really easy for me to relate with them, it's not like I have a secret crush on them, but I would not refuse at all if they like me, but on the other hand, I'm not completely fine with them because if in the relationship there are some problems, returning best friends wouldn't be easy at all.

So it can actually compromise our friendship and in my specific case it could be really difficult to go back with someone with the same relationship as before, iykwim.

but if I had to choose in the moment that they like me what to do, I wouldn't know what I will probably do.

I confused about what relationship you saying, I consider as living together .

MY opinion:

What if my best friend likes me, For that we want to know what is friendship, Friendship has many division. In this topic you saying about best friend , that may be girl or boy, Who is lover usually opposite gender may be attracted due to body, behaviour etc, in this case both of them are attracted towards each other.

But we can be friend with anyone, there is not much attraction. In case of best friend it also starts as normal friend over years it can be turn into best friend. But friendship is more of trust, entertainment, joy.

What if my best friend likes me:

In case of opposite gender ,I can consider it, but It is not based on single person she likes me, I want to know whether I like her. If I also like her then we can go on relationship. When of same gender ,same principles, but I consider it more than 1000 times. Because society says as gay, and as a gay there is biggest disadvantage , If I want to become family person but we can't give birth as gay. But keeping short term relationship with him is somewhat acceptable

Final opinion:

Relationship is not based only on single person, I will check whether I like him/her. But relationship does not include only living together it includes huge topic like sex, reproduction, maturity. so I will consider all these topics and decide. But living with best friend is very hard in reality.

Define "like" because I do not know of a friendship that does not have that quality; it's not conditional. Without definition, the debate isn't, either. Don't assume we all think in the same box, so, define your terms, next time. A dictionary is an acceptable source your can cite.

Pro is a flaming homosexual but it's not enough for me to judges against him this was essentially a one round debate and if only conduct was being judged then pro would lose due to the blatant homosexuality but I consider this a tie in arguments so will judge it as such
