Hello and thank you to take part of this, so the reasons why I think Israel should not take part of the Eurovision music festival is mainly the geographical situation and the social things that are going on.
Starting off with the first point that is logically the main issue: middle East isn't geographically in Europe and that's a manifest.
Israel and with so also Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and so on aren't geographically in Europe and don't even share the cultural European history.
I will make an effective example: Cyprus is located in the sea under turkey and near the middle East: and that's the fallacy, the Cypriot history has been always rooted in the European history, starting since the Roman empire.
Israel on the other hand never did, and that's because only in the last 80 years the Jews have been living effectively there and "the history" of modern Israel is related to the Arabs, sharing the same attributes to Syria, Jordan, Iran and so on.
On the other hand also Georgia and other countries from the Caucasian area took part to the Eurovision even if it's not in the European continent because it's Eurasian territory: but there are the historic reasons why the Caucasian countries are linked to Europe because, starting right from Georgia, it was a very important part for the orthodox church adding also the Ottoman empire(and that's also the explanation for the presence of the Azerbaijan).
The second main reason why I think Israel in THIS CASE SPECIFICALLY shouldn't had took part to the festival is the complex political presence of the REP: she was a soldier of the military army of IDF.
If this seems just a alleged unfounded and binding information only to get political, I'm gonna show you the real meaning of the song and declarations:
"Representing Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is both an incredible honor and a profound responsibility. Despite the ongoing challenges, including protests and security concerns, I am mentally prepared to face these difficulties with resilience and positivity. My goal is to share a message of hope, love, and healing through my song, New Day Will Rise.
The song, written by Keren Peles, reflects my personal journey of survival and strength. Its lyrics, inspired by the biblical verse from the Song of Songs—‘Great waters cannot quench love, nor can floods drown it’—symbolize the enduring power of love and the possibility of renewal, even in the darkest times.
While I am aware of the controversies surrounding Israel’s participation due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, I believe that music has the power to unite and transcend political divides. I am grateful for the support from fans worldwide and remain committed to using this platform to spread a message of resilience and hope."
In light of the geographical, cultural, and political complexities surrounding Israel’s participation this year — especially considering the representative’s military ties and the ongoing conflict — it raises important questions about whether Eurovision should include Israel at this time. I believe this debate deserves careful consideration to ensure the contest remains a celebration of music that unites, rather than divides. Thank you for your time, that's my statement.
"The Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition held among broadcasting networks that are members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU)"

When I look at a map, Israel 'does look to be on the edges of a map of Europe, and Broadcasting of EBU.

Still, looks close 'enough,
I mean, they've even had 'Australia on apparently.
"2015 The EBU considers the possibility of inviting associate members from countries outside of the European Broadcasting Area or the Council of Europe to participate in future editions of the contest. The first of such "guest nations" was Australia in 2015. This also increases the number of countries competing in the final to 27.[129][130]"

. . .
Israel 'was part of Rome though, and lot of Jews were in and are in Europe I assume.
Europe crusades to Jerusalem in the medieval period, shared connections.
The Israeli representative 'sounds as though her goal is a "message of hope, love, and healing"
don't let it go FF please that could have been a great topic
