Morality depends on circumstance and motivation, and consequently, there are degrees of right and wrong. 

Under most circumstances it is wrong to kill humans, circumstance and motivation are determining factors.  

Humans that could taste good as animals non persons, why would it be wrong to kill humans for the same reason?

Every animal kills including humans, a trait isn't necessary to justify killing. Animals just kill.  How you feel about killing doesn't matter. Animals will kill regardless, again that includes humans.
