To decent people, the word, "sheep" is an insult to them as it implies they can't think for themselves.

Catholics take pride in being a sheep.  They don't like thinking; they let the pope do their ideological thinking and they blindly accept it without question even if the pope contradicts himself or is hypocritical (selling all you have and giving to the poor while sitting on a golden throne for example).

The pope doesn't prosecute the r@pe that happens in the church.  Could you imagine if 4% of a private school's teachers r@ped kids?  They would be out of business.  The Catholic Church gets away with it and the Catholics don't consider it a deal breaker.

I wouldn't cuss at Catholics over it, I wouldn't disassociate with them over it, and I sure as hell wouldn't want to mass murder them, but I just think they're kind of annoying.  They often make horrible arguments (ex: my Dad said everyone is equal (and he said murderers were equal to philanthropists)).  He denied it was socialism.  Catholics are scared of scary but accurate (and legal) labels.

If you call a Catholic a racist, then they will deny it (as they move away from the Bronx and Brooklyn to get away from the blacks and into the white suburbs).

If you call a Catholic a sexist, then they will deny it while they don't let women become priests.

They can't call a spade a spade and they are often very term nit picky (just like Canadians).

If a Catholic likes Biden and I say Biden has dementia, they say it's false, and I then say he has cognitive decline, then they accuse me of moving the goalposts.  Homie; you knew what I was talking about.  Don't act dumb.  Biden isn't going to take the SAT anytime soon.  He shouldn't have been there.  You can hate Trump; alright; but at least acknowledge the obvious and don't be term nit picky.  It's annoying.

There is no way to defend the issue of covered up abuse. I can however tell you Protestant or Muslim abuse is severely underreported in terms of mainstream media.

Of the rest which do you want addressed first?

It's been alleged that sexual abuse is actually more common in schools than in the Catholic Church.

Wait until you hear what I think about the protestants and the Muslims.  I'm not a fan of them either.

Yeah but we must own up to it beinh Cath schools. I have a feeling that is how other religions in the West avoided accusation as very few have faith run schools. In Middle East etc abuse gets covered up so severely we would never know.

It's not good to shut off your brain.

this number rose to 5–7 % in the case of public school teachers.
Yikes.  I just have a hard time believing that because I've know hundreds of public school teachers are in my city and only 1 of them got SA charges.  Whereas I heard of one priest out of a few dozen that did SA.

If I was raped by a catholic priest, I probably wouldnt be catholic. But yeah, so many Christians are known for child abuse.

What do you know about pedophilia in the Catholic Church? I ask a sincere question.

If you call a Catholic a sexist, then they will deny it while they don't let women become priests.
A woman can become a nun if she is devoted to God and wants a role in the Catholic Church. Nuns do important work.

We are not communists and that is an ideal from Jesus himself, to be selfless and love thy neighbour and serve others.

Pope is infallible ex cathedra only, he can ve challenged ogherwise. They do not abuse ex cathedra, we hold it sacred.

So, this may count as what you define as sexist. It is sexist oerhaos but not misogynistic at all, I will explain.

We do not believe male and female souls are same. When a male or female human dies, his/her soul is not gender-neutral in our doctrine. Our God has a masculine 'male' nature. Only male souls can do Eucharist for him to come to Earth in body and blood. Only males can fully represent him here.

Does that make sense? Very few Catholic women are fully for female clergy, there is a quiet minority maybe for it.

We consider every human except Jesus and Mary the Theotokos a natural innate sinner.

This means even if sin happens in our church, we approach it from a forgiveness andnrehabilitation perspective because our mission is to help all sinners be saved. That is part of why the coverups ended up.happening since it was feared how severe a backlash would occur and how bad the people would get treated in secular/protestant prisons with few protections against abuse.

It is not defensible, it is however a way of seeing things that did not fully defy Catholicism. We are not taught to instantly snitch necessarily if we think they will be abused severely in prison. We accept we should do it and actively do more now but we doctrinally must prioritise forgiveness and rehabilitation first. We have arguable problems due to that it is true but a faith dedicated to save ALL and seeing ALL as sinners ends up with this grey area.

A few people dreamed up some ideas of Superman and sought to spread it around the World, and in doing so fucked up established cultures in order to establish a big new factionally integrated, fucked up culture.

I blame those that invented ships navigation and Superman.

What we need is a real Superman in a blue skinsuit and red underpants to descend from heaven, and tell us all to stop fucking about like idiots.

The pope doesn't do anything about it.  A pedo's free will matters more than the safety of the kids he's raped according to their all loving god.

A woman can become a nun if she is devoted to God and wants a role in the Catholic Church. Nuns do important work.
But can nuns become priests?  No; there is the sexism (which is fine if you own it; I'm a sexist with who I date; I don't date men).  But they're cowards about their sexism.  That's the issue.

Same reason why a Muslim can support someone who doesn't pray 5x a day.  Your religion doesn't restrict me; it restricts you.  I think anyone that has had an abortion should leave the Catholic Church; I want there to be more atheists in the world via people leaving religion.

Communism is about serving others by force (punishment is death).  Catholicism is about serving others by force (punishment is eternity in hell).

So idk about other sects but we do not just live to avoid Hell. We are driven to be loved by God and love God back. It is a caring King and servant dynamic more than sheer Master and slave dynamic.

Sort of. There are direct culture clashes between NT Christianity and OT Judaism.

The reality is this, we are made by God. We owe everything to him. Do you want a God who helps the monsters be destroyed or a God who solely forgives ALL equally and instantly regardless of works and devotion to the cause of Good?

The Father of the 3 is more the one holding the stick for enforcement and also who made us all. Son and HS serve different roles than the Father.

You were made by your parents.  Do you owe everything to your parents?  If so, then if your net worth is $200k, then write them a $200k check.  Bad logic.

Do you want a God who helps the monsters be destroyed or a God who solely forgives ALL equally and instantly regardless of works and devotion to the cause of Good?
Neither; forgive (I would go so far as to accept) the irrelevant stuff (skipping church, white lies) and prosecute the horrible stuff (r@ping kids, murdering) with no chance of repentance.  High slope.

He is not God's messenger; the pope is not divine. He is successor to St. Peter, Bishop of Rome, and head of the Catholic Church.

A number of figures within the Church were opposed to Pope Francis: https://www.theguardian.com/news/2017/oct/27/the-war-against-pope-francis

But can nuns become priests? No; there is the sexism (which is fine if you own it; I'm a sexist with who I date; I don't date men). But they're cowards about their sexism. That's the issue.
Can priests become nuns?

Cowards relent. The Catholic Church has not relented. “Cowards” are the Protestants who have forsaken God and betrayed the Faith.

Same reason why a Muslim can support someone who doesn't pray 5x a day. Your religion doesn't restrict me; it restricts you. I think anyone that has had an abortion should leave the Catholic Church; I want there to be more atheists in the world via people leaving religion.
Yes, the female murderers of children who get themselves pregnant and then destroy the life they chose to create should leave, and never return unless they do a long and grueling penance.

They should be able too.  What are the differences between a priest and a nun (other than gender)?

He is leader of the Catholic Church, who may influence, but no longer has a hand in implementing views in matters of politics. “His point” is that he preserves thousands of years of tradition and leads the many Catholics of the world.

I know, and they are heretics.
They say Pope Francis was the heretic. His casual approach to the papacy was frowned upon. Pope Francis said the priests can now bless homosexual couples. This is heretical and very controversial. A homosexual couple are living in sin, and should receive no blessing. I believe they should only be blessed if they are abstaining from the homosexual lifestyle, despite their urge to participate in it. Participating in it means they have betrayed the word of God, are not listening to God, and are willfully continuing to sin. How can we bless this mess?

They should be able too. What are the differences between a priest and a nun (other than gender)?
Sex is the correct word to use.

Priests are ordained and oversee pastoral care, perform sacraments, and provide religious instruction. A nun may pray as much as a priest. They are expected to pray and spend considerable time in contemplation. Nuns may also be involved in education and charitable work. If we consider the history, the Church believes it has no authority to allow priestly ordination of women. Jesus' disciples were male. St. Peter was male. It is logical for there to only be male priests.

What are the specifics of the bolded part?
It would be voluntary penance. They would not return to the Church if they did not feel immense guilt and shame, and were not willing to do penance. Doing penance is good for us all. They could fast for long periods, help the sick and the needy, sleep on a cold, hard floor, have cold showers and baths, go running until they can no longer stand, and so on.

Well, if the pope is a heretic, then why would god select him to be the pope?

Sure, but to me, sex creates kids and feels good (from what I heard).

Priests:

    1. Get ordained (what does that mean?)
    2. Maintain pastor
    3. Do sacraments
    4. Teach
    5. Pray
    6. Does NOT do charity with church's money.

    Nuns:
    1. Don't get ordained.
    2. Don't maintain the pastor.
    3. Don't do sacraments.
    4. Teach
    5. Pray
    6. Do charity with church's money.

What is the duration and intensity of these policies?  Do you believe the punishment for abortion should be voluntary starvation, nursing roleplay, frioslomber, frioshowers (which many people do voluntarily), and long distance runs?

    How do you think?

Well, if the pope is a heretic, then why would god select him to be the pope?
Why did God let Satan tempt Adam and Eve?

Get ordained (what does that mean?)

Priests may also devote time to charity. Nuns are more likely to be involved in charitable work and education, although priests will visit Catholic schools in their diocese. The duty of a priest is primarily to provide pastoral care and perform the sacraments. My priest celebrates Mass five times a week, hears confession once a week, and is there for those who need him to provide spiritual guidance at any time of the week. He told me of the pilgrimages he has embarked on over the years too.

What is the duration and intensity of these policies? Do you believe the punishment for abortion should be voluntary starvation, nursing roleplay, frioslomber, frioshowers (which many people do voluntarily), and long distance runs?
I don't know. I have fasted for nine days on two separate occasions, and for seven days on another two occasions. In fact, I have done every one of these. They are quite mild punishments. The punishment for a woman who has murdered her baby should, I think, be more severe. Prison time? She need not give consent to this. In the end, if she fails to repent and embrace Christ, it will be Hell.
