I got to roast my own "faith"

Atheists will claim they are free thinkers (before the MAGA right co-opted the term).  But they usually are progressives and blindly follow pretty much everything the progressive party agrees with just because they label themselves as, "progressive" and it's a feel good label.  They fail to realize that no matter what happens in 5 years, society is going to ideologically progress by 5 years, but if we get a lot of right wing policies in that time, then atheists will argue that's regression.  In order to regress, we need a way back machine (doesn't exist).  If they are parties that the "progressive" (marketing term) supports, then they will fall for it.

Progress is inevitable, but is it going to be left or right wing progress?  

Left wing advancement is progress and right wing advancement is regress to the atheist.

You should convert to Satanism maybe. You have necessary style.

Fortunately I think like Steven Weinberg who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1979.

Here is what one famous Christian philosopher said:

How is feee-thinking the territory of any one faction, only? Free-thinking is an attitude void of politics, or any other influential social fabric. Free thinking is the only the  purview of people who are willing to listen to opposing ideas without screaming at the moon, and both progressives and conservatives can do it. It's a matter of individualism, not collectivism, and both sides can be curtailed by collectivism. So, what roast?

So, Nobel, or not, Weinberg has proven nothing. Of course good people can do good things, and evil people can do bad things, That's human nature to choose. But human nature can also choose an influence of bad people doing good things. That's the general point of religion, but Weinberg isn't seeing that coming. That action needs an open mind, first of all, good or bad. Is Weinberg tied to a stick? Are you?

In so much as atheists are not stymied by oppressive religious indoctrination.

Whereby they can explore all avenues relating to creation and existence, including theism.

And for sure, none of which will impede material progress.

And perhaps some of which will be to a greater or lesser extent, politically affiliated...But we can also say the same about theists and pineapple farmers.

I expect that when a real AI takes over, it will be pragmatic.

Most people that call themselves free thinkers just accept the label for marketing pourposes; it's totally false.
