Jews and Catholics are both very vanilla at work.  The Catholics are puritan about it though (very bad).  You offend a Catholic (lets say they are an art major and you say it's easy to get); you might get fired.  You offend a Jew (same insult), the Jew doesn't get offended as easily.  They know genuinely offensive comments (like saying the Jews drink Christain blood), they won't get too bothered.

But at work, they are both too anti free speech (or if you need this translated into democrat messaging; they aren't as accepting towards minority viewpoints).

They should have a cop mentality here (or African immigrant from some shithole country if you need a democrat group).  Cops (from what I've seen) have seen people get shot and killed; they aren't going to be traumatized by trivial stuff.

But if I say that off color comment to a Jew off work, then they don't get mad; they talk about their art major calmly.  The Catholic off work is similar to the Jew who is on work.

Cops and African immigrants don't care about meaningless comments; they care about violence; not words.

There literally are African Catholic immigrants.

There also are Catholic cops.

Controlling your tongue/speech to avoid offending others is a fantastic life skill to gain actually. If you do not do it, you mentally are stuck at age 14ish maturity for life really.

I know; I speak in generalities in case you didn't pick up. 

All of the following statements are true:

1. Texans are (generally) conservative
2. Some Texans live in Austin
3. Austin residents are (generally) liberal

OBVIOUSLY not all Jews, Catholics, Cops, etc act the same way.  But you should know I'm talking about generalities whether or not I put them in parenthesis.

So then lead by example and stop posting comments that I could say are offensive to me, but I won't get offended because I'm not 14ish years old anymore.

In a hypothetical debate, what arguments would you make for choosing judaism over christianity? 

The only one I can think of are The Messianic Prophecies, but I’m certain there have to be a lot more. 

What factors would you include?

I mean, speaking as someone who isn’t going to make the detailed religious arguments, I’d probably focus on the community Judaism creates. I’d probably also put focus on where they place their focus (life vs. afterlife). Getting deeper into the liturgy isn’t my strong suit.

There are many African Catholics btw. There are probably more Christian than Muslim Africans emigrating to the West.
