..." D. radiodurans nucleoids. They found that its nucleoid adopts an unusual ring shape. It is known that in vitro DNA tends to form toroidal aggregates in the presence of condensing agents (21).

.. In these toroids, DNA molecules are condensed in a closely packed hexagonal arrangement (20). Levin-Zaidman at al. assumed that the ring-shaped nucleoid of D. radiodurans has basically the same structure.

..The hypothesis has been made that the toroidal shape facilitates repair of the fragmented genome because its densely packed structure prevents double-stranded DNA break ends from diffusing (13, 29). "...

Alternatively or both it could be the ternary/trinary  molecular combination.

.." Dubbed “Conan the Bacterium” for its extraordinary ability to tolerate the harshest of conditions, Deinococcus radiodurans can withstand radiation doses thousands of times higher than what would kill a human — and every other organism, for that matter. "..

..." “We’ve long known that manganese ions and phosphate together make a strong antioxidant, but discovering and understanding the ‘magic’ potency provided by the addition of the third component is a breakthrough. "..

I first read of these or other similar bacteria living in the fuel rod water pools in mid90's in book by Fred Hoyle --he coined the tern Big Bang in 40's or 50's--   The Intelligent Universe.  Wow an informative book it was.

In that book or elsewhere, I read that all bacteria reproduce so rapidly that, if  all were left unchecked, their mass would be equal to that of the known Universe at that time  within 6 months.   That was in regards to known mass of mid-90's.

We of course know of larger Universe we live in.

Ken.....' A good rule of thumb is assume the LLM is a genius sycophant who wont criticize your brilliant ideas unless you ask it to. '......

Human { biologic complex coding }  > to > LLM { less complex coding } is not now ---if not also never--- the other way around.

AI is not intelligent. AI seeks out already existent intelligence and does not have direct access --and never will--  to *meta-space mind/intelligence/concepts*, as humans do.

Complex humans attempted create biologic life in a flask --in 60's--  and maybe got the required for biologic life, left-handed amino acids at best.

I recall another experiment of man trying reproduce pressures on some substances to see what would happen to them if hitting Earth under such high pressures.

I forget what compounds into a shell-like casing and then blasted this shell into a sand pit { in lab I think }, and he expected to find and disorganize mess of less complex substances.  Instead he discovered more complex compounds. If I recall correctly, polypeptides was one of the a more complex substance appearing in the shell.

High pressure led to more complex substance.  So maybe if put AI coding in a shell casing, then blast it into a sand pit, it become more complex coding.  Ha, just kidding on the AI part. Just kidding about this last part

And never will.
It is estimated to have taken 4 billion years for prokaryotes to develop  into multicellular intellectual organisms.

And about 40000 years for hominids to intellectually evolve to the point at which they have conceived and embarked upon the development of an alternative intelligence.

I therefore think it a tad naive to write off AI, after only a decade or so.

Human { biologic } > and > AI { algorithm coding = Oranges >  and > softballs or baseballs  i.e. they both soft, about the same size, both roll and yes softballs come in more colors than oranges, tho not a biologic and sofballs dont digest very easily.

However, softballs are a whole of fun and lots of money created using softballs-baseballs as a sport.

THe most useful thing AI has ever done vid - utube.
