So when people terminate a pregnancy prior to fetal development, what is that called?

That doesn't make sense. Does the term "unintelligent" imply intelligence?
No; and yes; I will own my bad point made.

But what I think happens with humans is the word, "children", "born", and similar words cause the majority of people to lose all rationality and focus on the word, "born" even in the direct face of a contradiction like, "UNborn".  Instinct outweighs rationality to a lot of people.

For example, consider the 2 following statements made in 2021:

  1. Free and unmask OUR KIDS
  2. Protect and mask OUR KIDS

Person A is a normie.  In a rational world, Person A will only agree with one of these slogans whether they are looking at them simultaneously or not.  But Person A is a normie; normies aren't rational.  If Person A sees the 1st slogan, then they will think, "Mask mandates are bad!".  If Person A sees the 2nd slogan, then they will think, "Mask mandates are good!".

Your statement would be accurate if people were rational; but the annoying part of this world is people aren't.  They will confuse, "unborn" with, "born" because they think of infants with both (and yes; it's irrational, but people at the end of the day are monkeys with smartphones).

It's why I want the most neutral language used to describe ideological positions that I can regardless of the issue or position.

I therefore don't like saying, "Protect a woman's right to choose".  I would rather say, "Expand abortion legalization" and on the flip side, I wouldn't say, "Protect the unborn".  I would rather say, "Expand abortion prosecution".  Neutral terms are needed to get society to become less emotional.

Ok so you think pregnancy starts when a fetus is developed. So be it that the case , you're not totally against abortion which is the termination of pregnancy which pregnancy exists before the development of a fetus.
The woman has a developing fetus or a growth towards one because she is pregnant. She doesn't become pregnant after fetus is developed.

An abortion is a potential medical, surgical or natural procedure.

Somewhat ideologically contentious.

Though a practical solution to a common problem.

And plays a small part in population management.

I'm guessing BK, that relative to your current line of thinking, you would rather a proliferation of under 40's and the compulsory euthanasia of over 40's.

Though I would further guess, that you would modify your  line of thinking on your 40th birthday.

Because they think a zygote is a human and if you believe a zygote is human, then it's obvious you think the others would be humans.
Or they could just use a phrase that includes all of them lol. Remove any doubt.
Honestly the thread ended for me here lol. Not even reading past #11
