It's this:If he is slipping up reading his PM and he is reading off his actual PM, he could be doing that as town or scum. It's affiliation neutral.If he is slipping up because he is making up a fake claim and has no PM to read off of, it makes zero sense to do that as scum if he is going to claim vanilla.
the slip in question happened before he full claimed so the vanilla thing is irrelevant, if he was fake claiming he would have been planning on using that no matter what. The claim itself is NAI to the fact that he was reading the wiki to answer a question about his role as opposed to just reading it straight from his pm.

I am the loom, a crafting station that can be crafter or found in underground cabins that crafts apparel primarily using silk that strengthens your character. Thus I am the strengthener and can choose a player each night to guarantee the effect of their night action.
What does silk have to do with strengthening?

Silk has nothing to do with strengthening something. It’s just a material used to craft based on what I read

If you have issues with my behavior I’ll gladly respond to it, but it’s ridiculous to be pressured about my role when I full claimed willingly with only Mikal pressuring me and have been maintaining a consistent claim this whole time. Mharman made this claim not me. When I fake claim I do hours of research and try to blend in. You’ve seen my fake claims as town and scum. Why would I randomly drop the ball here in a 14 player game I’m excited about as opposed to just actually claiming my character and role so we can get the game back on track with pressuring real behavioral reads?

I’ve been alone in a wagon before. It is what it is. If someone can offer up a better alternative that isn’t me I’m all ears, but we have multiple claims at this point and supa is my best lead, I don’t really see a reason to pressure elsewhere and give mafia more information. Also note that it’s interesting the best arguments for supas defense aren’t coming from supa himself.

I hate 532. I understand that bussing has gotten mafia a lot of wins recently but to have a hard bus on each other as scum buddies in DP1 is not only insanely risky, but no logical sense at all. Even if I am looking at it from Pie's lense. At most you have 1 is scum and a 1v1 trade. This just feels extremely gun hoe and eager to stir mislynches, and I kinda have an FoS on Pie

I can only speak to the obvious, dude. I'm not expecting you to justify the existence of a Strengthener, but the dejected throw up your hands response is not exactly helping your case, at least not with me. Sure, you could have come up with something better. You certainly have a tendency as scum to make risky claims. It's entirely plausible, though, that you were given Strengthener as a fake claim and went with it. Or you decided to play it safe with this claim for what you anticipated would be a longer haul game, given the number of players. I'm not saying this suits your usual scum playstyle, but I also can't ignore it.And no, I haven't claimed to know anything about the theme this entire game. That's been part of Mikal's basis for pushing you, not mine.
Could be the same reaction with the fake claims that Mharman provided.

I’m null on Casey. Keep going back and forth - I think calling out the Vanilla claim due to the role madness setup gives him a bit of towncred (assuming it’s real, haven’t had a chance to look for it), but I also think Casey’s reasons for saying Luna was sus felt a little weak, mainly just supporting my view on Strengthener and claiming that Luna was buddying them.
Fair enough, I'd probably read myself similarly. I will say that upon further reflection, I'm not even very convinced by my own case against Luna anymore, and partially for the mitigating factor that I myself brought up - Vader also townreads me for largely the same reasons as Luna. Also, I realized that Luna wasn't actually talking directly to me when he said that he townreads me like he did in Microbiology Mafia (which is what made me start to sus him there).

Because why would a townie need to look anything up to answer questions about their on when the mod provided them all the info they need to know in their role PM? The only time I look at wikis is when I am scum researching for information to support a fake claim.

I'm caught up. Reconsider this Luna read, dude. I've literally never seen scum beg to be lynched (plz find one example if you can). And Luna is choosing to go nuclear just because they're being scum read. If Luna was scum, they could play it cooler and let their scum team help them out.Also, this strategy never works for avoiding lynches. Someone will be like "go ahead lynch me idc" and we lynch them and they're town. Almost every time. I will not be voting Luna today unless there's a very good reason to change my mind.
