I liked the one about plums and did one myself.
Falls short in many aspects tho.
I will explain.

"This is just to say about the cherries"- Umbrellacorp

I picked
the cherries
too early
from the bowl
they were
still sour
and I swallowed
them anyway
I thought
of you
watching
from the hallway

Where this poem falls short:

The plum poem describes the honest kind of greed. Eats the plums without remorse. Delicious. Apologizes later. Feels sorry for having taken something someone was saving. Describes pure guilt. It has a very gentle tone.

This however, is unapologetic. Only the act of taking something before it is given. "They were still sour". "Too early". Then, the tension of being seen. Someone else watches but says nothing. DEFIANCE.

Of course i did not intend it to be so, but after thinking why it wasn't so good as the plum poem i noticed it lacked innocence or honesty.

Hmmmmmmmm

You Germans.

You're trying to tempt me.

You know, unripe cherries, swallowing and voyeurism.

Though if you want a saucy folk tale about cherries,  I will have to PM you, so that the Ratman does not get too overexcited and blow a fuse. Though he probably already has.

Another three days in the wilderness would be another three days in the wilderness...See you there then.

LOL.

Hello Pierre.

I like your dog.

I'm guessing that he is Pierrelechien.

I am not famous, but have had a brief three days of DebateArt notoriety.

Oui, Pierre le chien.
Your dog is cute,  his name is Zedvictor, yes?
Pierre is old now, he no longer chases the cows.

My dog is 10 years old, he still chases tennis balls and squirrels.

His name is neither Zed nor Victor, nor Zedvictor.

His name is from the Welsh language, meaning to be.

In France, Bod would be named Etre.
