Lets make US territories states

    We should add 3 states to the Union.  These states ought to be:

    -Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.

    -Guam and Northern Mariana islands.

    -American Samoa

    I really don't care if they want to turn southern Cali into a Tropico Republic, but the rest of the people shouldn't have to suffer.

    the song is: 'fifty nifty united states'. not 'fifty three nifty united states'. 53 just doesn't have the same ring to it.

    I don't think we should make policy on the basis of a song.  There could be another song that says, "fifty three, liberty" implying 53 American states.
