This interview featured at the beginning of Terry Gilliam's 1985 masterpiece "Brazil" is the perfect response to any criticism of your favorite government/organization/religion/philosophy.

Why do you think people are protesting in Hong Kong or Occupy Wall Street or the Iraq-Afghanistan war?

Why do you think atheists seem so upset about religious influence in government?

Why do you think the Apache and Comanche and Mahican tribes attacked immigrant villages?

"A ruthless [stupid/savage/gutless/disingenuous] minority of people seems to have forgotten certain good old fashioned virtues.

They just can't stand seeing the other fellow win.

If these people would just play the game, they'd get a lot more out of life."
Here's a clip from the opening sequence, [LINK]

Your scathing critique is requested.

You demonize your opponents all the time.

I thought you'd love it.

Read this out-loud to yourself,

"A ruthless minority of people seems to have forgotten certain good old fashioned virtues.

They just can't stand seeing the other fellow win.

If these people would just play the game, they'd get a lot more out of life."

This is the perfect response to any group of people who disagree with you.

It's another way of saying, "they hate our freedom".

1st part is about I think some people who forgot what they value. Mainly virtue which I don't care about.

2nd part is that sore losers.

3rd part is something about the game and they should play it if they want more out of life.

What is the game and is my summary correct?

It is useful to understand the context of the quote. Spend a few minutes Googling the film mentioned in the OP. I had never heard of it before now but it isn't hard to get the general idea after reading the Wikipedia plot summary and a couple of reviews.

"A ruthless minority of people [nihilists and anarchists] seems to have forgotten certain good old fashioned virtues [christianity/common courtesy].

They just can't stand seeing the other fellow win [dime-store-psychoanalysis/appeal to unverifiable motive/ad hominem].

If these people would just play the game [look like and act like the majority], they'd get a lot more out of life [we'd stop demonizing them]."

Please explain.

So basically Christians can't go past race biases?

Anytime you attribute motive (psychology) to your detractors/opponents you are speaking beyond your epistemological limits and you are committing an ad hominem attack.

So basically Christians can't go past race biases?
Well, not specifically Christians.  Pretty much any group that reinforces conformity and demonizes outsiders does the same things.

So an anarchist thinks values and norms are bad for society. Good to know.
