Sorry for doing this forum again, but I told someone who was interested that would create a forum for this topic. My stance on this is that the minimum wage should be $0.00/hour because if a poor person does not like their job due to the lack of salary, the government could provide them with a job.
Once minimum wage is abolished, productive unions that do not have to resort to paying off government officials to stay affloat should start to spring up left and right.
Price controls reduce the supply of everything...from housing to jobs... everywhere it has been implemented...at every point in history.
Also there is no such thing as "price gouging"
Raising prices is the ONLY moral way to encourage the production and distribution of needed resources.
The immoral way is to point a gun at people and force them to produce supply.
