their numbers are all so high even though they turned into a concentration camp where people could go more than a kilometre outside of their house? Tell me, liberals, did it work?? Look at the number now they are consistently high. the government said "we want to help you" but now that we've moved on, now that the narrative has moved on to Ukraine, who cares about covid? Why is it that they don't need vaccine passports (yes they actually had that) anymore if they really care? Its because they never cared.

Also, if they really care about your health, why don't they shut down all fast food places? They already show they don't care about small business so why not, for the sake of health, stop fast-food???its because they don't care about you

What makes you think you don't need 'vaccine passport' equivalent?

Have you actually looked into what it takes to travel abroad?

Who are "they"?

Without "they", there would be anarchy.

Society would be a shithole without "they".

Yet we continually criticize "they".

If you could do better than "they" can, then get up of your moaning backside and become one of "they".

After all, "they" are all basically human. Though perhaps somewhat cleverer than you.

Just a thought based upon an observation.

Your assumptions about “they” might be right.

Australia has a death rate of 555 per 1m population (130th in the world) compared to the US which has 3214/1m.

If the US had Australia’s death rate it would have saved around 800,000 lives.

So yes - it very much appears to have worked.

Even Australia can’t hold a candle to China’s enviable death rate of 4/1m. It looks as though China’s policy of welding apartment buildings shut which housed an infected person REALLY worked.

Not only China did well managing Covid. Look at all the other Asian countries like Japan! Korea! Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. etc.

what im is not saying is not whether it worked or not, im saying why don't they continue? they said they "cared" about death rates when they closed the country for 2 cases, but now they have so many more deaths? If it is the case that they care, why aren't they locked down now? It's because they don't care about people.

I think it’s more because vaccines exist now.

Covid was a useful political instrument that has since outlived its purpose.

The lockdowns were hurting the general population, the economy and businesses which was worse than expected. A balance had to be drawn between life and death and yes having vaccines and treatment made the pandemic less severe.
