The display bore an uncanny resemblance to the infamous Nazi salute. The delusional incitement and zombie-like response should put to rest the notion that President Biden (or anyone) should be “reaching out” to these people. They are unreachable, and pretending otherwise misleads voters.

No Republican should ever escape an interview or news conference without being asked to condemn this monstrous event. The cynical GOP leaders who know that Trump is unfit for office and that many of his cult followers have become violent should not be treated as ordinary party hacks. They are enablers of a dangerous movement. Yet they continually evade persistent, aggressive questioning.

Oh pulease, all they did was point in the air while the Qanon anthem "Wwg1wga"  played, which stands for the QAnon slogan “where we go ONE, we go all”

Maybe not a new salute, but in context, it's clear they were saluting Qanon...the OP is right, Trumps gone full Qanon.  He's threatening violence is he's endicted, and Qanon are his enforcers, in his mind at least, he's threatening the DOJ.  I'm not seeing an act of strength, I'm seeing an act of desperation.

No Democrat should be allowed to speak until they condemn Marxism.
You mean condemn the position that economic elites  end up wielding their power in a way that works against the interest of the little people; and that they invariably end up with so much power that revolution is the only option to remove these economic oligarchs, and put in place a more equitable system where your hard work let’s you become successful….

Isn’t that your position?

By that definition, the so-called "inflation reduction act" was Fascist.

I don't think his debate icon is actually a picture of him, don't think you are actually JoJo Rabbit either.

Corporatism (“corporativismo” in Italian) was one of the cornerstone principles in Mussolini’s fascism, and had to do with the way society and the economy would be organized, with state power at the head of a system of guilds or corporations (“corporazione”) representing each major industry. [**]

The Great Depression spurred State ownership in Western capitalist countries. Germany was no exception; the last governments of the Weimar Republic took over firms in diverse sectors. Later, the Nazi regime transferred public ownership and public services to the private sector. In doing so, they went against the mainstream trends in the Western capitalist countries, none of which systematically reprivatized firms during the 1930s. Privatization in Nazi Germany was also unique in transferring to private hands the delivery of public services previously provided by government. The firms and the services transferred to private ownership belonged to diverse sectors. Privatization was part of an intentional policy with multiple objectives and was not ideologically driven. As in many recent privatizations, particularly within the European Union, strong financial restrictions were a central motivation. In addition, privatization was used as a political tool to enhance support for the government and for the Nazi Party. [**]

Because if that were the case using a picture of a Hitler Youth would not make sense.

You obviously didn't see the movie.

That's fine, it helps me identify clueless edgelords and people of culture.

I saw it, loved it, and when he was holding the rabbit he was pure Hitler Youth, you cropped a swastica out of the picture.

Actually... holding the rabbit was the turning point in the movie. He couldn't kill the rabbit like his fascist President ordered even though the rabbit had a Maga hat on it and was a threat to Democracy.
