If America is such a racist & hateful country, why do so many POC & LGBTQ commit hate crime hoaxes?



























If America is such a hateful and racist country, as so many on the left constantly profess, then anyone wouldn't need go too far to find endless example after example to find factual cases of such hate and racism. But alas, many brainwashed lefties cannot find such bountiful crimes of hate and racism against POC and LGBTQ in America that they claim exists; as a result, they are creating the very race and LGBTQ hate crime hoaxes they seek but cannot find. 

What does that say about those POC crying wolf over race-based hate crimes that simply do not exist, then create them anyway?
What does that say about LGBTQ crying wolf over hate crimes against them that simply do not exit, then create them anyway?

What does it say about the media that feeds into these false narratives, where in some cases it causes people of color and/or LGBTQ lashing out at their perceived so-called enemies with violence?

What does it say about America were such fake crimes are tolerated and given a free pass (e.g., Jussie Smollett, Crystal Magnum, so on and so forth) to those who commit them?

  • How does the presence of race hoaxes disprove the presence of racism?  Swatting hoaxes don't disprove the presence of gun violence.  Just as swatting hoaxes are more convincing because of the prevalence of gun violence, race hoaxes are more convincing because of the prevalence of racism.

Non-sequitur. Nowhere was it stated that hoaxes "disprove the presence of racism." Nowhere. As such, that question was not even being addressed, at all. It's not a part of the premise. It is not a part of anything herein this thread. Until you used it as the classic strawman, that is.

  • Swatting hoaxes don't disprove the presence of gun violence.  Just as swatting hoaxes are more convincing because of the prevalence of gun violence, race hoaxes are more convincing because of the prevalence of racism.
  • Because you major premise is false, your conclusion is disproved.

Gun violence? Another non-sequitur and strawman. 

You didn't even address any of the questions in the OC, or the question in the follow-up comment to the OC.

So let’s ignore the Gish Gallup for a moment - there are multiple duplicate entries here referring to the same thing.

FBI UCR stats for 2020 indicate approximately 6600 “hate crimes” based upon race or sexual orientation. 

The most comprehensive list you provided of 178 examples of hate crime hoaxes, 10 occurred in 2020.

This works out as a hoax rate of 0.15%. Presumably this could easily be higher as not all hoaxes are listed.


Arguments by anecdote often try and refer to specific instances in order to present them as an overwhelming norm, whereas in context that maybe much rarer compared to other less convenient examples.

What does it say about America were such fake crimes are tolerated and given a free pass (e.g., Jussie Smollett, Crystal Magnum, so on and so forth) to those who commit them? 
You think Jussie Smollet got a free pass?

I recommend you learn how conditional reasoning works, then read up on analogies.  When you're done with that look up how informal fallacies like straw men and non-sequiturs work because you don't understand any of that shit.

I understand logical fallacies just fine, same for analogies. 

Gun violence ≠ hate crime hoaxes. It was a piss poor (irrelevant) analogy. 

The OC has nothing to do with claiming hate crimes don’t exist just because fake hate crimes do. That’s a twisting of the intent of the threaded discussion. That’s a strawman. 

Both your twisting and bad analogy are strawman arguments. 

At least, and surprisingly, Ramshutu addresses the topic at hand. You did not.

I don’t think this has so much to do with the actual level of racism in our society as it does with our obsession with the victimization and oppression due to racism. If you look at the concept of intersectionality— it puts the most victimized people groups at the top of its pyramid. What does that mean? The most victimized and oppressed identities get the most benefit of the doubt, the most attention, the most admiration, the most imputed nobility. Victim = hero; oppressed = noble.

As I like to joke, Chicago Mayor Lightfoot could be at the top of the intersectionality pyramid if she were Muslim and handicapped.

It used to be all about economic class; now it somehow became about identity. I recall a hilarious Monty Python sketch where a group of gentlemen were trying to outdo each other over how poor they grew up:

“At least you had an apartment. We only had a cardboard box out on the sidewalk.”
“Luxury. We didn’t even have a box to live in.”
