Do Trump supporters ever grow tired of Trump’s ridiculous hyperbole?

Over the years Trump has made statements including 

“I’m the least racist person you could ever meet”
“It was a perfect phone call”
“I won in a landslide”
I’m the healthiest President in history 
I had the largest electoral win in history 
I had the greatest economy in history 
Our country is being destroyed 
and now, I’m 100% innocent 

Have a clue people. I know Trump supporters are dumb, but at least stay somewhat grounded in reality.

If you find a leader who never makes mistakes, it is possibly because that he who is that leader died shortly after he took office, giving no time to mistakes. Otherwise, everyone say stupid things, especially in a slightly(considerably) questionable democracy where people are so divided one doctrine passed well inside within their party was just that the other one is wrong. Of course, being the present leader of one, you gotta bluff because at least it works, significantly. If he says everything of complete merit and honesty, chances are that there will be more people turning blue rather than red, especially if exaggeration and linguistic techniques are used at the other side.

I don’t think his rhetoric would inspire many here in the UK, it makes him look ridiculous. When America voted for him it produced astonishment and derision. 

I think it is a cultural thing; Trump is a braggart and Americans seem to see bragging as displaying confidence, competence, being positive and promoting yourself.

Here bragging creates the opposite impression. The person who brags is perceived to be inadequate and insecure and that they brag simply to compensate for their inferiority complex, therefore the braggart is treated with contempt not admiration.

It’s the same here in the US. Trump is seen as insecure and incompetent by anyone with a brain. People who like Trump have status anxiety. White guys who are falling out of the middle class.

Hey, IwantRooskies, have you ever heard of negotiating?  He is spouting off the extreme ends so that he is either not challenged or when he is challenged he can pull back to a lesser position but still in his favor.  He has done that his whole life.  I hate it too. It makes him look dumb, but he is not trying to look smart, he is trying to run a country.
