What. It is America, what do you expect? Most “American socialists” are way too progressive and “woke” to actually read Marx and Engels translated word by translated word. And the actual US Communist party is only in the thousands and is based on a single building in NY. I’d challenge any actual politician to be “socialist” for heavens sake. It just struck me that there is no “socialist” in most elections, there is just the conservatives and the less conservative, and the less conservative are labeled socialist by the more conservative just because both of them are on their left, I guess.
