“Today, only 6 percent of private-sector workers nationwide belong to unions, the lowest rate in nearly a century”

When Franklin Roosevelt first became President he made a speech where he said

“If I worked in a factory, I would join a union “

When is the last time an American President made a full throated pitch for unions like that?

This is what happens when you give a worker the right to work for a living, the liberty to make their own job negotiations, and allow him the pursuit of happiness to keep more of his pay instead of mandating a paid contract representative (which used to run as a protection racket by the Mafia and probably still is in some sectors.)

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Can't get any more American than that.

When Franklin Roosevelt first became President...
FDR admired Mussolini's  economic Fascist policies and implemented a host of programs that had DC centrally manage the economy through tyrannical regulations to the point where you couldn't even consume what you grew on your own land.

Fascism made unions necessary to protect workers, independent farm owners, and small businesses from government regulations, but the common worker lost that war with overbearing regulations, licensures, and compliance laws. There's no need for the common worker to form unions now that the war oppressing the freedom to work is lost for many workers, and everyone is expected to work for one of the many corporate oligarchs without question.

And good luck striking against one of those giants. Their deep pockets can pay off any union boss, as the Rail strikers sadly found out when Biden ordered them back to work.

Bullshit.

Source?

That’s nonsense. Unions protect workers from exploitation by capitalists.

Unions protect workers from exploitation by capitalists.
We live in a Fascist corporate oligarchy since FDR. Workers need protection from  government tyranny like Biden who shut down a rail strike in exchange for campaign money.

As u unions go, so goes the American worker
Government and their crony union bosses don't really care about common workers. Both care about power and money. Rail workers found out the hard way.

Clever farmers learned they could train a Judas Goat to lead animals to their death, training a trusted goat with a reward for killing his friends.

Union bosses like Trumpka are exactly that.

That’s nonsense. The Congress negotiated a settlement to get workers back to work and avoid that recession you keep predicting.

And now those same workers are getting their paid sick leave. You are a dummy who never has command of the facts.

The Washington Times is for dummies, dummy. They print articles by dummies for dummies like:

Jenny Beth Martin is president and co-founder of Tea Party Patriots and the Chairman of Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund.

You are citing articles from this moron? That’s why you’re a dummy SubTeach.

Divorced, bankrupt, ripping off the Tea bagger morons like yourself .

In 2020, Tea Party Patriots hosted and funded the "America's Frontline Doctors" event promoting use of the drug hydroxychloroquine as a cure to COVID-19. In 2021, Tea Party Patriots was among 11 groups listed on the website of the "March to Save America", the pro-Trump rally that led to the storming of the United States Capitol.

What point or question do you have dummy?

Regulated Capitalism is the economic system of the United States. If you have a better idea with a better track record, make your case here. If you are one of those laisezz faire dummies, that philosophy died with the Great Bush Recession of 2008

It died with FDR long before Bush
Bush brought back some laisezz faire policies, a hands of SEC, don’t regulate derivatives, in addition to the end of Glass- Steagall from Phil Gramm, and it all blew up in our faces.

So no better economic system then you want to promote?
