..."What received wider attention, however, was a video that the Tucson-based aid group, No More Deaths, also distributed with its report. The footage, taken between 2010 and 2017, showed Border Patrol agents kicking over water jugs that had been left in the desert.

....In one clip, a male agent sneers at the person filming him, demanding to know whom the water is for, as he empties a gallon bottle of water onto the ground."....

Not enough facts yet to apportion blame, but that doesn't stop people like Gp doing so.

Right. The father is completely blameless for what we do know which is that the child had no food and water for several days.

----according to a statement from CBP, she “reportedly had not eaten or consumed water for several days.”

This isn't the worst treatment children go through as human shields for the military aged males crossing the border illegally.

This story is infuriating, makes me mad, this was a needless death. However, the blame is not to fall on the American government for this one. The blame is to fall on those that mislead the migrants, painting a picture of riches to come and coaching them to come in big groups for "safety" and also to crush the border. The responsibility of that lost 7 year old life lies solely on the hands of the parents that made the little one walk for days in the desert, without proper food and water. The mom stayed behind in Honduras with the rest of the family. Why did the dad bring the child only?  And did he not notice that she was not doing well during the trip? He claims he did not (would she have not tripped thousands of times, cried out of hanger and thirst during her journey?....Apparently not) And, if her own father did not notice, why should an agent, catch this right away? As the story unfolds and is properly reported: A group of 4 agents caught 163 people at least 90 miles away from the nearest processing station around 10 pm. They were so many that they could not transport all of them at once. There was no cell reception and no paved roads, it was dark. The agents spoke Spanish just like the Dad. The dad never mentioned she was sick, she looked ok to him. The agents had to make several trips to take them, on the first trip they took 50 unaccompanied minors. Dad and girl started their journey around 4.30 to the processing station. Everybody was offered food and water, it was too late for her. Her body could not resist the long journey. She got septic shock (the ultimate cause of her death), had high fever. They tried but could not save her. Neither Dems or Republicans or government is to blame for this death. A family took a chance with a life. The gamble did not pay off. The parents are to blame, period. America does not need migrants that don't care about their kids. Yet another reason to build a wall to protect our country from being overrun with irresponsible parents using their children as moneymakers.

Yes, it is on the USA one of the richest countries in the world cannot deal with immigrants in a fair, compassionate{ empathy } rational, logical common sense way that discourages adults from taking their children around the legal pathways to more dangerous illegal  pathways into USA.

No, the father, or others,  are not without their share of the blame.

USA ---overwhelming rich---

immigrant --overwhelming poor---

Humanity ---global issue-- best path forward for the most number of days with the least amount of sufferring is a All-for-one and One-for-all spiritually moral path.

A global issue can only be solved by involving all nations or at least the ones of most significant influence.

>< = dumb-bell geometry of large poor and large rich and litllte middle class is not sustainable

<> = octahedral geometry of few poor and few rich with huge amount of middle class is most sustainable pathway forward for humanity

It doesn't matter how much wealth America has. It cannot force migrants mostly raised under Authoritarian socialist regimes to take care of their kids and not trade their children's lives for money. Not unless you think America should use its wealth to start confiscating children from authoritarian socialist countries where this problem occurs, or simply nuke all authoritarian socialist countries and replace them with freedom, liberty and democracy. Think we already tried doing that though, and the indigenous people still chose to have authoritarian socialism there.

We already have that in America, land of the free, where relatively few are on welfare and relatively few are billionaires.

Or we could be like Brazil and Venezuela where everyone in power controlling the guns is rich, and everyone else is not.

Orange-Trumpanzee-Clones = cruel treatment of immigrants to send message to the world, USA does not want you, unless you can clean presidents bedroom at his golf club.

>< = dumb=bell effect of growing divide between rich and poor

<> = octahedral fat middle class and least amount or rich and poor is the best way forward for humanities longer term survival.

The evolutionary way forward needs to be hybrid of social concerns via a spiritual based governance and capitalism creativity of the individuals initiative.

All-for-one and One-for-all is the best option moving forward.

>< = diametrically extreme polarization is likened to EMRadiational charges of pos + and -neg and is ok for specific speccal-case targeting, however, it has to be subject to a great set of considerations as;

( ) = integral unification as one wholistic set.

(><) = greater whole contains the special/local-case, not the other way around.

Who cares about the wealth gap? the relative number of ultra rich people in America is pretty low, as well as the number of ultra- poor people. Most of the people in America are in between rich and poor. Socialist paradises like Brazil and Venezuela have no middle class, certainly not like America has.

Why would you want America to turn into Venezuela...unless of course you secretly hate America as a Swiss nationalist.

15% of americans are below the middle class in America, and according to that CBS article, "76 percent of Venezuelans are now under the poverty line, compared with 52 percent in 2014."

Why would you want 76% of Americans to live like that?

What would you do to stop the Coyotes from fleecing poor people with lies and putting children's lives at risk with promises of false riches?

It's no surprise that the Father now wants to ship his daughter's ashes back home to her mother in Honduras while he gets to stay and ride the gravy in America. His lawyers (thanks Soros) have advised him not to say anything bad about the border patrol and to pretend that his daughter was just fine during the illegal coyote run across the desert.

The lawyers are smart as hell because it was his fault his daughter died. I would ship his ass back home if he critiqued the border control for his selfish acts

I'm sure your knowledge of the world and world affairs is outstanding since you've probably had three years to gain such knowledge and it appears you've gained that "knowledge" from wingnuts, poor child. That's more accurately described as indoctrination.

This pretty much sums the lack mental and emotional depth of all the franken-hybrid, Orange-Parrot-Clones.

>< = dumb-bell divide between rich and poor ---leads to worst cased scenarios for most people---

<> = fat middle class and is closer to the best pathways forward fo rhumanity, All-for-One and One-For-All approach.

195 nations need to unite to solve global problems.

1}  private and government directed, computer based scenarios analysis, ---education---,

2} democracy vote{s} once global citizens are sufficiently educated,  --free of Russia type false propaganda--

3} emotional courage to do what needs to be done for humanities longest term survival on Earth.

All-for-One and One-for-All
is the spiritual and intellectually best pathway forward.

Wingnut bad.

Swiss Army Knife

..."1. They were born in Germany, not Switzerland.

The first Swiss Army knives { 1890 }were actually produced in Germany by Wester & Co.

....In order to provide a level of competition and ensure the quality of goods and goals of production, the Swiss government awarded 50 percent of their order contract to Victorinox, and 50 percent to another Swiss cutlery company, Wenger.

...5. Some even come with thermometers. And ballpoint pens. And_____g  flashlights.

The SwissChampXAVT is the largest production Victorinox Swiss Army Knife, and includes over 44 tools that serve over 80 functions. (). s

......Every inch of raw steel is inspected, as well as the content of the metal digitally analyzed for tensile strength. The blades are cut, polished, forged and then ground down and sharpened, and then stamped—where again, they are inspected by real eyes and real hands and real micrometers after every single step of production. Perfectionism is an understatement.

....Luckily, spotting the difference between a real-deal Swiss Army Knife and a fake is simple. The trick is in the spring mechanism and the telltale Swiss Army Knife “snap” of the tools. You can also tell by the classic Victorinox shield, as well as the inscription on the big blade: “Victorinox Swiss Made.” If your knife doesn’t have these qualities, chances are, you got duped.

Income inequality is actually a good thing. The rich put the most money into the economy per person. In an ideal society, the is a large middle class and a small upper class- but no lower class at all. Sadly, it's never going to happen because there will always be a lower class as long as there is laziness.
