The MAGA Morons are tearing down institutions. They are subversives, just like their dear leader FAT Donald Trump.

Tonight they caused their Speaker of the House to be terminated. He will not try to return. Republicans use to pretend they wanted compromise years ago but now they are done pretending. They would rather burn the government down than pass legislation with the support of Democrats.

They want to cut spending after they just cut taxes for America’s wealthiest citizens. What do they want to cut? A tiny sliver of the spending aimed at the poor.

If there is less tax revenue than obviously there should be less spending.

As for your statement about compromise. How exactly would a republican compro.ise without losing ground?

Literally every compromise works to the benefit of liberals. Here is how it would play out in a non political example.

A house has zero cats and the husband who is conservative is against having cats but the wife asks for 5 cats.

The only available compromise is to upset the status quo, and under the best compromise you still are allowing 1 cat in the house. This means that the husband has lost ground and the wife gained ground towards her ultimate goal of 5 cats.

Literally every compromise, let's the more liberal side gain ground while conservative values like not cutting off the penises of children lose ground.

Even if you hate conservatives, it is common sense that the party trying to maintain the status quo always loses ground in compromises.

I think you'll see this as true soon enough with the liberals more and more often representing the status quo in the United states.

It's clearly getting harder for Congress to pass budget deficits lately with establishment Uniparty.

Maybe if people see what budget cuts look like then they won't feel bad when taxes go up.to pay for the swamp.

Orange Grey Parrot, I watched some of that vid  What a load of false narrative. This is why most identify you with the king { Trumpet } of false narrative propaganda.

Actually their is probably others { radio talk show host who get sued } worse than Trumpet with false narrative.

You appear to most,  as some one who identifies with all of these nutters over the years.

I seem to recall when Bill Clinton was in office the USA budget was balanced --whatever that means--- for the first time in many years.

..."  To balance the federal budget, government revenue must meet or exceed government spending. That's happened only twice in the past half-century: President Lyndon Johnson did it in 1969, and President Bill Clinton from 1998 to 2001. ".....

Both Democrats, compromising with republicans, is my best guess.

..." What is the #1 problem of economics?

..The fundamental economic problem is the issue of scarcity and how best to produce and distribute these scare resources. Scarcity means there is a finite supply of goods and raw materials. "...

Duhh, yeah, we live on finite Earth with finite resources ---sun output and wind is finite--- and we see increasing >>>  human population growth >>>.  So it is not just a USA problem of economics it is an issue for humanity ergo, it is going to take some humanity wide cooperation ---instead of nation against nation--- to have least amount of suffering in future days to come.

Yes, Clinton had to compromise with the Congress.

Yes, a surplus occurs when the government collects more money than it spends. The last surplus for the federal government was in 2001.
On August 10, 1993, President Bill Clinton signed the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993, one of the largest fiscal deficit-reduction packages in US fiscal history. This law raised the top individual income tax rate from 31% to 39.6%, which increased the average effective tax rate for high-income earners and shifted the federal fiscal balance from deficit to surplus by the end of the century. Given major business interest groups’ criticism of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993’s heavy reliance on tax increases over spending cuts, how was the Democrat-controlled Congress able to pass this legislation? Drawing on archival evidence from the Clinton Presidential Library, this paper shows that the administration and Democratic committee chairs mobilized support from corporate CEOs, including Fortune 500 executives, asking them to lobby key legislators to support the bill. Thus, with business leaders’ support and lobbying efforts, the legislation was passed with a very slight majority.

Significantly key part >>> ..."...the administration { Clinton }  and Democratic committee chairs mobilized support from corporate CEOs, including Fortune 500 executives, asking them to lobby key legislators to support the bill. Thus, with business leaders’ support and lobbying efforts, the legislation was passed with a very slight majority."..

There was tax cuts on the under-priviledged peoples --school lunches, Headstart? food-coupons etc government programs for poor--- and he was criticized by those with those concerns. If I recall correctly.

Obviously the vote was rigged. I noticed there was a thermostat in the House chamber. It was controlled by Ukraine and used to change votes for McCarthy to the other side. STOP THE STEAL!

Clearly, McCarthy should have pulled the fire alarm to stop the votes against him.

The DC system is built on last minute CRs and continuing resolutions. Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy are masters of using the risk of government shutdowns and Christmas to pass whatever their donors want in an omnibus and CR. I actually learned that in my Congress class from a former staffer who used to work for a congressperson. It’s an absolute disgrace. Whatever you think of Gaetz, he’s a man with balls.
